You need to be persistant pattiant and pasionate if u want to reatch out to birds try going to your birds at regular times and try to hand feed them keep at it and u will learn their maners and how to read them and they will start to trust you more

When it is a baby, the pop are very small, though, but once 2 months old, some liquid pop are the size of a hand... You must have a tilted floor, because if you have a carpet, it would be ruined in a couple of days. I know it perfectly, I raised a similar duck from beginning january 2015 up to her 9 weeks in my appartment. I do not have a house and a garden, just a flat. So it is the first time and the last time I ever raise a duck Inside a house, too much work with the pop/shits. I released her in the park close to my home with others ducks Inside and I continu to come everyday to feed her 3 times a day, to pet her and everybody is amazed because I'm the only one around to be able to touch a duck and pet him without the duck going away. And to answer your question very accurately: you can't train a duck to pop at a specific place. He will pop everywhere at any time. However I noticed something: when I took her on me for 30 min, petting her, sometimes even longer, she was sleeping on me, I noticed she was not making any pop for a long long time. I supposed she felt it was not correct to pop on her dad. ;)

This reminds of my childhood..we used to have back in the days...a back yard filled up with ducklings and chickens and I used to trim one specific little duck my self I just felt like I own the whole world by the unconditional love relationship...and sometimes he sleeps next to me it's like a never ending love.
