- Travis Kelce is reacting to the comments that his in game stats improve when Taylor Swift is at his games. On a new episode of the NFL star's "New Heights" podcast with his brother, and fellow player Jason Kelce, the duo responded to the recent correlation with some subtle Swiftie references. "When T Swift is at the game you are averaging 99 yards and when you are left with only your friends and remaining family there you're at 46.5,” Jason told Travis who brushed off the claims. "As it says in the edit or whatever it is ‘left to his own devices,’" Travis said. "Hard for me to wrap my head around that sentence.”

As a chiefs fan i have no problem with taylor swift being at the game but yo y'all got to stop. Travis was putting up unbelievable stats way before taylor showed up, he was breaking records last season and the season before and the season before hes a 2x Superbowl champ. Hes been dealing with a knee injury this season so his first few games back he was kind of off. Once he gets back fully healthy he will put up more unbelievable stats with or without taylor being at the game.
I believe it was CBS or ESPN that put that graphic out. It had nothing to do with Taylor or her fans. The NFL and sports channels are the problem.

They both have high profile jobs, are perfectionist, workaholics, put their careers first, understand some of each other's crazy worlds and fans. They understand non stop rumors and gossip don't mean anything, both are extremely wealthy so no questions if they are being used. They know how hard the other works and that they need alone time and friend time even if you haven't been together a lot at that moment. Within the last year they both ended 5 and 6 year relationships. I think they both now know exactly what they want in a life partner. It is absolutely no disrespect to the past ones but if you are married after that long it wasn't the person for you.

Like Swifty Nation, Cheifs/NFL fans and many others, I like these two as a couple along with the story line but there is no way this whirlwind romance is going to become a long running engagement. No way this is going to turn out well for Kelsey. At best, he is going to be disappointed when it ends and will probably suffer some embarrassment. In the aftermath, Kelsey will become an object of interest for a plethora B-list Hollywood babes looking for some career boosting publicity. Those headaches will be just the beginning. Having no reason to hold on to his multi-million ocean front lovebird's dollhouse, he will likely sell it in short order, probably for less than he paid. Additionallly his appeal to advertisers will drop percipitously in a case of becoming damaged goods. In the end. a blazing testimony to the adage, "be careful what you wish for".

I'm a 60 yrs. in, lifelong NFL fan. I like Kelsey and have a keen appreciation for Swift's talent and skill set. She's on the way to becoming one of the wealthiest performing artists ever. Their lives have intersected brightly and sweetly. Again, it's a nice story but there is not much in it to make an objective case for a "happily ever after" outcome. Travis has, as Colin Cowherd would say, gotten the bag but on this one it's very likely that he will be the one left holding the bag.
