My guess is that in order to make the 4rd bunny appear you actually hid the 1st and presented it as the 4rd when you "duplicated" the 3rd. I also think that when you made the pile of bunnies appear they were hiding in the hat the whole time and you shook them out of whatever hidden compartment they were in and the second one was just sitting normally under the hat.

(But for real tho the hat was compressed and the bunny is made of sponge and he never showed the inside of hat so...) It's a lot of practice and dedication.
