Worth mentioning: in Vice City, army won't attack you if you wear police uniform and you can just freely walk inside their base. Which is really worth it, since there are plenty of cool weapons like M60 and, of course, Hunter and Rhino.

In GTA III there is no army base, place that is shown in this video is Phill Cassidy's weapon shop. Also, (as said by many people before me) Tommy can enter Army base using Cop Outfit and soldiers won't shoot at him, exept if he shots first.

Exactly. Was gonna say the same thing so I wanted to look if anyone beat me to it. Phil was on good terms with Claude so of course he'd let him enter and buy weapons. Also, that place was meant to be used as an actual military base but the idea was scrapped. Didn't know the Vice City thing where you could enter with the cop outfit. Thanks.

I've only played Gta San Andreas, GTA 4, and Gta 5. And I only finished Gta 5 so I kinda missed that one.
@@WaterVolt1917 It's a good installment to the series, but keep in mind there are fewer abilities than in San Andreas or further. You can't swim or climb over objects like San Andreas, and the Playstation 2-4 versions have a pretty clunky first-person targeting for rifles. The PC version is cool in that you can strafe and aim multiple directions with the use of a keyboard/mouse, whereas the Playstation version is a bit harder to maneuver. Cars feel heavier in Vice City than in other titles, but isn't a deal breaker. There is only one flyable plane in GTA VC being the Skimmer. If I might recommend, get "GTA Vice City Stories" for PS2 which can be emulated or played between PS2/PS3. You can swim, It has a more interactive fist fighting mechanic, more weapons, run a variety of criminal enterprises across the map with gang wars, and so on. GTA Vice City is more akin to an arcade game these days, but Vice City Stories added many features from San Andreas. If you have a newer mobile device it runs extremely well with a Bluetooth remote. The aiming/maneuvering clunkiness of the playstation variant is improved in the mobile release, but still lacks strafing. Hope this helps

Then the suspect enters the base and goes to the secret room to get something

I was terrified of the army zone in Vice City as a kid. Sometimes they shoot sometimes they don't. I kept telling myself "Just pass by casually and they won't hurt you".

In GTA VC, after completing that one cop mission, you'll have the police outfit as clothing. Anyways if you enter the base in VC with the cop suit on, they won't shoot at you

The funniest thing of all is that if you've ever served in the military you know how really wild it is. Weapons are locked up in an arms room, ammo is locked up somewhere else on post, and nobody is allowed to walk around with weapons unless you're an MP or gate guard. Lmao

In Vice City, if Tommy wears police outfit he can get in the base without getting shot. The police outfit can be unlocked after mission Cop Land, you can find it in the Police Station.

I enjoyed doing military base raid in VCS when I was a kid thinking that would be acting as a pay back to martinez although it would do nothing at all, it was also for pure satisfaction as well although I used cheats for gears and health, but it's fun
