My first car D Plate 1987, it cost £6995. NO POWER STEERING!! Blue. Got rid of it 2 years later, only drove it 2 thousand miles. Bought an "88 MR2 T Bar" did 50k in 3 years.

I had a Mk3 Ghia, in white. And it always felt a little bit special compared to the L models. The GL was almost as good, but that Ghia badge on the wings was what set it apart, and a slightly different fabric design on the seats. I fitted mine with an XR3 steering wheel, and painted the black grille and door mirror caps white, to match the car, and it looked great. Fond memories...

I used to buy and sell first mk3 then these constantly in the early to late 90’s
Never had a management light problem or dpf and forget the dual mass the boxes were mint just clutches could slip so throw a plate in or cables stretch, you gotta say they did what they were supposed to do

Junk.worked for vauxhall Opel in the 80s,much better cars.last decent ford was the Granada,once the front drive escort and the Sierra came along they were crap.
