  • SI3D has been specifically designed for people with amblyopia and/or strabismus.
    SI3D's OcuView lens is designed for these exercises and general Vision Therapy. OcuView is much more effective at promoting 3D vision than full oclussion. If you do not have OcuView, use your hand or patch to cover your dominant eye.
    Sit directly in front of the laptop or PC monitor (bigger screen is best for training).
    Ensure you sit comfortably. Sit about an arms length away with your head central to the screen or monitor. Do NOT move your head unless instructed to do so - EYES ONLY.
    If you suffer with amblyopia in both eyes do exercises for left and right eye equally.
    DO NOT STARE FOR PROLONGED PERIODS AS THIS WILL STRAIN YOUR EYES! Blink often, blink often, blink often! Blinking does 3 important things:- 1/ It lubricates the eyes 2/ it minimizes strain and 3/ forces your eyes to refocus on the target.
    You must exercise between 30-60 minutes daily (15-30 morning/ 15-30 evening). It is best to train as soon as you can after waking, and just before you go to bed. If you train more, ensure you rest your eyes every 30 minutes for at least 15 minutes.
    Exercising daily must become habit. Your eyes and brain will only 'learn' if they are continually stimulated with exercise. You will get out what you put in.
    You must be under the guidance and supervision of a registered VT (Vision Therapist) before carrying out any training or oclussion.
    I am not a professional. I am simply someone who suffers with Amblyopia and Strabismus, and I developed these tools and exercises to help people like me.

    Update: I received a comment (since deleted by the user) stating they could not read the instructions/disclaimer despite having a large screen, and that the text was blurred.
    Videos will auto default to a lower resolution depending on your device and internet speed. All videos should play in 720p or in full HD.
    I have now added the instructions and disclaimer to the video description.

    There are other exercises for lazy eye on youtube but I get bored of them as the pattern remains same for the whole video and nothing changes. Naturally we pay more attention to surprises and changes therefore I love these exercise. I use an eye patch and exercise only the eye that doesn't track well. The instructions say that we should do these exercises for an hr a day. Can these exercises fix Amblyopia completely for adults ?

      Hi Sandhyarani, thank you for your kind feedback.
      I have received lots of kind comments/feedback from subscribers and I've had over 100k views, but you are only the second person that has expressed the same reason why I created them this way - to keep attention and not get bored too quickly. The main reason people will not make progress is because they get bored too easily and give up. I wanted to ensure there was constant change, variation and visual stimulation. Thank you for this!
      Re 'Fix' - As long as you have had an assessment carried out by a professional Vision Therapist, and they have advise you to exercise your eyes, then there shouldn't be any reason why you cannot gain 3D vision. I do not advocate a patch as being the best vehicle for attaining stereopsis, although it does help. I developed the OcuView because patching or covering, despite building pathways to the visual cortex and strengthening the weaker eye, does not promote 3D vision.
      Also, it is very much dependant on the person as to whether their amblyopia can be fixed completely. Everyone is different: different vision acuity, condition(s), duration, initial cause etc etc.
      I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer.

    sir/ma'am I got your channel as recommendation by youtube and I'm very thankful for that. I'm having only ambylopia in my right eye so can you guide how should I start your exercises . should I start from beginning or the latest videos you are uploading. and one thing thanku so much .

      @seein3d456  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Suraj, thank you for your kind comment.
      I have attempted to provide a wide range (plus more to come) of videos that address different aspects of the eyes and visual system.
      Some videos are actual exercises that will strengthen the eye muscles and tracking abilities (Lazy left/right eye series), some are designed to build stronger pathways to the visual cortex (VPS Series), and my newer series (broken down into 3 difficulty levels) are designed to tell us how good the vision pathways are from a person's amblyopic or strabismic eye to the brain.
      Although there is no particular order you must do them, I would advise testing your vision using the Eye Charts and Dot test series' first, but this is not essential. Start with Level 1 for the eye charts and dot series. If it is too easy, move on to the next level. If you cannot manage a particular level, move to the Lazy eye exercises and practice for a few weeks, then return to the level you struggled on previously to see if you have improved.
      This is only my recommendation. Please feel free to use whichever videos and whatever order you so choose.
      Thanks again, and if you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer.

      @@seein3d456 thank u so much . but I have one more question that is do I have to watch each day different video (like u said 15-30 min in morning and same for night) but as your exercise series are of length 5min so should I replay them or move to next video. or it is like 1 video first day then second video second day and so on.and also in eye chart and dot series at what distance we have to put our screen .

    • @seein3d456
      @seein3d456  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi again, Suraj.
      Please feel free to ask as many questions you like - I am here to help as best I can.
      You do not need to start at #1 before moving on to #2 etc. You can choose any videos you please, and in any order you please.
      There is no reason you cannot watch the same video a few times in order to reach your 15-30minute target - it is entirely your choice. All I am saying is the videos are not designed to be worked through numerically - simply to let you know it is a different video to the others.
      Regarding the eye chart and dot test: Distance is completely personal to the individual because it depends on what device/size screen they are using and what their vision acuity is.
      Simply test yourself by starting from level 1 on your chosen device. If you can manage level 3 with ease, you can either increase the distance or reduce the brightness of your screen. You need to find out what your mind's eye is seeing first and foremost, so you have a benchmark established in which you can monitor progress from.
      Once this has been established - exercise for a few weeks, then test yourself again to see your progress. They can also be used to exercise by increasing distance beyond what is easily readable, forcing the eys to work harder.
      i hope this helps.
      If you have any more questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

      Hi Nimesh, and thank you for your kind comment.
      I cannot say for certain as I am not an expert.
      I advise that people obtain a diagnosis from a professional in the field of Vision Therap who will prescribe exercise for their patients.
      Not everyone can gain 3D vision, but most can. It simply takes hard work and dedication.
      If you do not have access to VT, then I advise that you take it slowly and only exercise for a few minutes at a time, gradually building up. Assess yourself at intervals to ensure your condition isn't getting worse.

    Hello, sir
    My left eye is straight, but my right eye is seeing upwards. I googled it and then i got to know it is called exotropia.
    Will exercises really help my right eye to cure?
    I'm very insecure about this. I'm not able to make eye contact with anyone.
    Please, reply sir I need help.

      Hi, is your hypertropia permanent or intermittent? Do you wear glasses or contact lenses to correct the vision acuity issue?
      I advise that everyone is under the guidance and supervision of a qualified Vision Therapist who will prescribe a home exercise plan. These exercises should compliment your plan.

    • @janmeshshedame3188
      @janmeshshedame3188 Před 2 lety +1

      I went to a eye doctor about a month ago. He just said that wear your glasses constantly and use the eye drop 3 times a day. I said to him, my eye is turned but he only said to wear glasses.
      I don't know why he said only to wear glasses, he did not mention to do any exercise.

    • @seein3d456
      @seein3d456  Před 2 lety

      So he has prescribed something like Atropine eye drops to penalise your stronger dominant eye? And also prescribed glasses to correct the acuity issue?
      Can you tell me what you are able to see from your lazy eye when you over your dominant eye, please? Can you read, watch TV or a screen and see detail?

      With patch. But it is best just to occlude the focal point with your finger tip to allow as much light into the dominant eye as possible . This helps promote 3D vision much better than a full patch.
