Let's play of the Ristar Prototype. I discuss changes made between the prototype and the final product as well as changes between the Japanese and International version, as the prototype was built on the Japanese version of the game. In the final version, they added some fish to the cages while swimming to the Undertow boss. I could be wrong but I think those "thief orblets" on Sonata move a LOT faster after stealing a metronome in the final version. Other than some minor sound changes/omissions, and a few tiny sprite changes, I'm not sure what else they may have changed.
Thanks for the video! I've never run through the prototype before. This was nice to see.

Love this game. One of the most graphically impressive Genesis games, and a pretty late release too. Shame it doesn't have as much appreciation as I think it deserves. This is a very hard game though, so well done on being so good at it! I can't beat this one, despite a reasonable amount of practice!

Oml I love this game so much- I'm glad to be a fan of this game, the sprites, bosses (about bosses strangely enough I once found a character ai bot of the planet Automaton/Rewope boss), enemies, levels, and music are all amazing.

They was making the game look cute but annoyingly hard at the same time which I didn't enjoy ristar they put spikes and traps everywhere for players to die a lot which is not fun
