I sold the 2nd movie version years ago and wish I hadnt so when I discovered that they made one based on the 1st film (my favourite film) with the year display and red light it was an instant buy for me. I prefer the box with this one as it feels more secure. The previous one just sits on the prongs and I was always worried about it falling over especially when taking off the cover.
For me this is the ultimate replica

It's virtually perfect. If I could make one little adjustment though, it would be to have a pause of silence for at least about 5 seconds after triggering the button before it charges up again with the sound. It would just allow a little more time to close it back up which is more accurate to the movies.

Yeah, I agree big time. I had the ICONS version at one point and that casting was definitely not the cleanest.
Q: does your neutralizer have any play upper part when open. The one I received has a lot of play. F.E. said that is normal they all have that play in order for it to slide up.
Mine does as well! I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t commented, although if I remember correctly I believe it was done so the metal doesn’t get scratched like the previous models released. My old one had bad scratches where the metal rubbed when it would pop open.
