so excited for this!! I'm a girl and I LOVE the urban industrial style and there aren't enough videos for this AT ALL (at least I never find any). I'd love to watch more room tours and decor videos about this topic, do y'all know any good channels??
Anthony DelucV I already watched them right after I finished this video haha! I went over to your channel and dug through it until I found something room tour related. really enjoyed it, your loft is so cool!
It's it funny how gender is a social construction like that? How all design choices are for all people.Straight cis men can have pink lacy rooms and straight cis women can have individual hard dark rooms.
If you got a tad longer sidebars and added T connectors it'd be so dope to add a second "shelf" so you have two bars to hang stuff one. One right under the other. That rack looks great, I love it!
A little pro tip: To make your threaded connections more solid, you can rap the teflon thread or teflon tape around the "male" thread. It would be hidden inside elbow connectors so it would not destroy the look :)
Hello! Please do more shoe arranging diys and also make a video where you add another rack on this! I've been watching your content from a few weeks and it's pretty cool! (Y)
Plywood. You can get 32-48 (depending on whether you desire 12 inch or 8 inch wide shelves) linear feet from one 4x8 sheet. Cost $25. Very solid. This design is sort of unstable. You can easily tip it over and get hurt. I would use a full 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. I would build two similar racks and attach them like a bridge. I would use 6 sets of rollers. This would be incredibly strong and very stable. You would gain two times the hanger space 16 Feet in a 4x8 foot area. This would be perfect in a loft area.
I can't believe how many subscribers you have now! I feel like it was just yesterday when you were still in your apartment, teaching us how to make taylor swift cat ears and nutella macaroons. Lets get tsg to 1m!!
Hi SorryGirls! I am from the Netherlands. I am a single mother on a budget. I've been living here since may 2016.. but my room doesnt have a door... could you think of a DIY for this? I've thought about a curtain but I spook easily at night if the curtain would move 😶 I'm a big fan of your channel! Xoxo liselotte
Tip: Find a resale store. Instead of paying $6 per pipe fittings they will be about .75¢ per fitting. You might be able to find some that have some more visual wear to them making it look a bit more industrial. Might be able to find your wood their too or your pipes. It's also better for the environment to buy second-hand. In the US Habitat for Humanity restore is a good place to check first. They are all over the country. There are probably also some more local places too.
if you wanted to add a shelf, you wouldn't necessarily need more connectors because you could space them out with something other than pipe. Also, if connectors are very expensive, if your plank was thick enough, I bet you could drill a hole the size of the pipe and just glue it?
Perhaps next year you guys can make The Evil Queen, aka Regina from Once Upon A Time dress because idk I just kind of feel some Lana Parilla vibe when I see Becky so if Becky got to be the one to wear the dress it'll be a plus and since you guys do awesome costumes I think this would definitely be a great idea!
Hi friends, love the tutorial! Is it very sturdy? My apartment doesn't have a closet, and while I don't have a ton of clothes, I'm not planning on just putting 3-4 pieces of clothing on it!
I think it can hold very well a lot of clothes, but i'm not sure about really heavy clothes, like coats or heavy sweaters, but you can fold those and put them on the wood c:
I was thinking of searching for a tutorial for this type of clothing rack the other day. You made it look so easy and accessible to build this. Awesome DIY! Also just wondering where your top is from Kelsey?
You guys should put up a schedule for Dude It Yourself week like you did for Puppy Week! I'm excited to see what's to come this week, hopefully, I'll get some DIY ideas for my boyfriend's Christmas gift :)
Amazing!! I've seen tutorials on pinterest but they always looked so involved and complicated!! This looks like a piece of cake. It's essentially just picking up ready-made parts and assembling them like you would an ikea item haha. About how much did the materials cost? And were you estimating in CAD or USD? Xoxo
OMG why am I JUST FINDING YALL OUT!! I'm about to move out to a new house and I have been looking for how to make this. THANK YOU for this!!! new subscriber for sure.
Hi girls! Loved this diy! However can I make a suggestion? Maybe just do your usual format for videos regardless of the theme? The talk through, kind of made it longer than necessary. Sorry! Would still watch it though!
i'll stop making this project at 4:30 , the big skateboard is all I came for.

How crazy is it that it didn't take that long to make and it didn't cost that much O.O I gotta try and make my own now lol
There She Goes yesss try it.
So good! Gotta love the industrial look. Loving Dude It Yourself week so far!!
I came here from Anthony's channel and this was awesome! Definitely going to try making this.
I think if I were to make one I'd put a "shelf" in the middle too. Thanks for the cool idea!
This is my favorite DIY you have done. Can you make an industrial desk with the same pipes please!!??!!?? 😁
Would love to watch a shoe rack video!

❤️ to anyone reading this, have a good day ❤️

I was literally just thinking last week that I hope you ladies feature more dude DIYs! I can't wait to see what's in store this week!
It was really awesome that you guys shared prices in this video. It was really helpful when trying to recreate it at home.
Nice project! I love that you said the prices cause I so often see people making stuff with copper piping and I thought it was cheap!
Thanks for explaining step by step! I tried to find videos how to make pipe clothing racks, but they barely help you on how to build it...😀
Love this! I made my own desk out of pipes as well and although pricier than expected, still cheaper than buying at a store.
Fantastic project, gonna get this sorted soon, looks great!
I'm here to make a sorry girls diy for the first time cause I ran out of closet rack space😒... so glad this is here👍
not a dude but i love masculine items here and there in my room (if that makes sense) so this is going in my room for sure
Same!
Legit super jealous of how good Becky's arms look! I have these big whale sized upper arms 😂but hers are so toned and just goals 😍
This is so cool! Ugh, if only I had room in my dorm for this :P
Such a different style of video, I completely loved it! More videos like this please! Also more concrete please.
I've always wanted one of these but they're SO expensive, I'm surprised you didn't do a DIY sooner!! Thank you!!

A little pro tip: To make your threaded connections more solid, you can rap the teflon thread or teflon tape around the "male" thread. It would be hidden inside elbow connectors so it would not destroy the look :)
Yo, PLEASE do a shoe organizing thing. I'm starting to collect way too many shoes with nowhere to store them... It's sad D:
It looks SO good!
I love this so much!! It's such a shame I have hardly any space in my room.
i'm so gonna diy this, i love the industrial look! i'm gonna use it as a video backround with a nice curtain!
I love it!!! I love the industrial style. I also really like DIYs that look expensive but are cheap to make.
Finally someone does this DIY
Hello! Please do more shoe arranging diys and also make a video where you add another rack on this! I've been watching your content from a few weeks and it's pretty cool! (Y)
Could you do a diy rolling cart? They are the really expensive trays that are found at ikea that have wheels
I like your channel because it's more about actual diy that looks good and people actually use
love that you girls have original ideas and make stuff people would actually use! keep on keeping on
Awesome DIY as usual!!! 💖
