I am in awe. No nonsense, yet gentle and very informative talk, all the "real men eat meat, sweat, and photograph their jeeps" vibe is totally missing; a group of great friends that go camping and hiking. Your video is outstanding, first time for me that I sensed that not all men who have white trucks are nuts. I appreciate your video. Women can watch it. It is friendly and informative. Thank you so much.
Love your videos! Relaxing to watch and the scenery is stunning. Well shot too 👌Must be awesome to cruise around in silence and enjoy these beautiful places.
I grew up in Ridgecrest, so I am very familiar with all these places you visited. I’m a fan of Rivian, so I enjoyed seeing you drive through all these places.
The quality of the content of these videos is so impressive. It's given me inspiration to check all these places out when I get my R1T. Please keep them coming. Great job.
This stuff is so good! I love your videos, so please keep 'em coming. Now that my R1T has arrived, I'm looking to repeat your adventures, so thanks for laying out all the details.
Your videos are like watching a professional nature documentary. Keep up the great work. Loving living the Rivian adventure life vicariously through your videos (though they are making me more and more impatient about waiting for my Rivians😢).
Well done!! Your trip to Mt. Whitney was spectacular! You made it look effortless using photo journalist editing expertise driving in the Rivian!! Where are you and your friends headed to next time?? How about a trip to ZION 🏞️ NATIONAL PARK in UTAH?? We look forward to seeing the Rivian manage off-roading with ease in the snow 👍.
Such great videos! Relaxing, straightforward and super interesting! Quick question for a newbie: how do you air down? Just manually release air and check with a gage?
You were very smart to turn around at 12,000 feet when you were not feeling well, because a helicopter rescue would not have been fun. It was also excellent that two of you turned back instead of going back alone. I only wish that you had some footage or stills from your friend’s trip to the summit, 14,505 feet, I think. It used to be 14,494 feet, the Sierra is still rising or measurements are more accurate now with gps?
Thanks and definitely wasn’t trying to be one of those people who puts ego before safety👍🏻 Unfortunately wasn’t able to attempt again this year due to excessive snow but hoping to make it up there at some point and have some footage to share! And yes I believe the Sierras are still slowing rising which is pretty cool.
I didn’t keep track of the exact number but it was around 5mi/day of drain - There is an option to turn the truck off in camp mode which I’ll have to try next trip because I think that’ll reduce battery drain quite a bit 👍🏻
Great video....looks like an awesome itinerary. Do you have the reinforced underbody shield on your R1T? I have an R1S on order and I'm not sure if I need it or not.
Great content and will be following on your next adventures! As you mentioned you’re borrowing the RTT to test out, but do you plan to keep it on at all times or do you take it off until your next trips? If you do keep it on how does that affect your daily range?
Thanks Gary! I have been keeping the tent on and havent noticed any change in my range/efficiency. That being said it could be interesting to do a proper test with it on and then off on the same drive just to see if there is any slight difference👍
Ive been using the Yakima Skyrise and it’s definitely a decent tent for the price but the setup/takedown takes some work - also not great in windy conditions. Upgrading to a new RTT very soon here and will post a video on that 👍🏻
Best Rivian videos on CZcams. Love the concise, minimalist storytelling while still giving great info about the R1T. Keep it up!
Thanks Jordan!

Those photos you took are stunning, I'd love to have some copies of them to use as backgrounds if you're willing to share!
Thanks! I’ll probably publish some of my photos as high quality images for backgrounds soon👍🏻
You should try out ocotillo wells or glamis CA next time . See how well it does in an OHV park.
Definitely need to check out some OHV parks!

Thanks for you response to my questions, I like your answers!
Great spot. Love the astrophotography.
What kind of battery drain did you notice after 3 nights at camp?
I didn’t keep track of the exact number but it was around 5mi/day of drain - There is an option to turn the truck off in camp mode which I’ll have to try next trip because I think that’ll reduce battery drain quite a bit 👍🏻
Your footage is so damn good! You're giving me a bucket list of places to take my R1T as well! By the way, what drone do you use?
Thanks! I use a DJI mini 3 👍🏻
Great video....looks like an awesome itinerary. Do you have the reinforced underbody shield on your R1T? I have an R1S on order and I'm not sure if I need it or not.
Yes I do! Would definitely recommend if you plan on doing any off roading 👍🏻

another great video! What site # did you stay at at Whitney Portal?
Thanks Sean! We stayed at site #22
What model of RTT do you have? Are you happy with it?
Ive been using the Yakima Skyrise and it’s definitely a decent tent for the price but the setup/takedown takes some work - also not great in windy conditions. Upgrading to a new RTT very soon here and will post a video on that 👍🏻
Why so few subscriptions
No problem with campfires at that site?
Nope! One of the few places I’ve visited in California recently that allowed campfires 👍🏻
prison terms for people who dump trash!
why no MTB? Just walk around? lol
Yeah all hiking on this one! I have a MTB now so that’ll be fun for trips with trails nearby 🤘🏻
@@ChargeOverland yeah!!
