@@MADGUNSMONSTER thank you soo much! !!! We are truly happy with the outcome, and quality of it. We started around November and finished in January. We worked only on the weekends but not all of them. Building the structure was the easiest part. Then the stucco took another 2 weekends or so. After that, what consumed the most time was just the little things so get the whole outcome. A lot of leveling the ground was involved! 😂 thank you soo much for watching!!

Fantastic job guys! Very nice & contemporary! I love it!
My only suggestions, (since I come from a family of brick-masons) would be to lay the block with mortar, between the joints, (just like a wall,) for added strength, & durability. You probably won’t have any major issues, since you put in “re-rod” and back-filled w/concrete, though which was a good idea.
The other recommendation is to tack on a metal-screen mesh onto the block, designed for stucco; both suggestions (although added expense,) are designed to prevent cracks, down the road, due to settling.
I applaud you on the end result though! Fabulous!

2nd this. As a Mason in Florida it's killing me watching block laid dry. Lol. That being said probably not worth it to your average homeowners to spend the amount of time it takes to learn to lay block for a 1 time job.

nice project, looks great! Did you use the construction adhesive between each layer of blocks as well or just the coping at the top?
Thank you!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 It’s almost a year now and it’s still in perfect condition. We did not use adhesive between each layer since we poured concrete on every other whole and used the lock system for the bricks. With that, a lot of people do suggest doing so to help prevent cracking and other benefits.

Hello! For this size back when we did it the total cost came out to about 2k. We took around 2 months working every weekend and afternoons. The laborious part of this project is the most easy, the details after are what take the most time. We always say “ if we can do it, so can you! “.
