I prefer the original look of the Face Plate. Boat looks great
what a beautiful setup youve got there, truck is stunning an the boat motor an trailer are just to die for,
the truck sounds so good, nothing like a healthy 351 with a good set of pipes on it, stay blessed out there !
Thank you! That truck is a great driver. Just pulled off a 1000 mile vacation with a camper in tow around the Appalachians.
Lovely boat and engine, job very well done. Shame about the music during the boat cruising as I wanted to hear that engine roar...!!
Awesome video. Great job on the restoration. Thanks for sharing. Dave
That's a heavy boat
It's hiding from snow at the moment, but memory says its 1,200 lbs plus weight of outboard and 18 gallons of gas.
Those old Mercs had class and style. The Evinrude and Johnsons looked oafish.
@@mattkinnard6899 Like the V4--looked like a toilet and loud loud loud!
@@RideAcrossTheRiver 🤣🤣 I'm not gonna lie, the tower of power is not exactly quiet either, but it sounds good😎
Matt. Your engen looks awsome!! Im in process of fixn exact same one up. Any advice?
Nothing noteworthy. I rebuilt the carbs and fuel pumps, all new fuel lines, new wiring, and new alternator. it was pretty straight forward once you get your head wrapped around it. As far as I can tell it's never been completed torn apart and I think it had an easy life, as it cosmetically looked decent when I got it
Ive put lots $ in this thing. Just cant get spark to plugs. Wiring harness. Wires. Plugs. Components. Still nothing. Workn on it over a yr. My luck its something simple and stupid.
@@leesherrer646 check the wiring inside your throttle control box by the key switch. Mine was corroded and has to be replaced.
I completely rewired control box too. Ignition. Switch. Choke. Harness. All bran new.
Good job. Was is the dry weight of the boat ? Thank you. Bill
My dad had a 1969 18 foot Silverline with a 129 IO drive. I bought a 1977 Silverline 17' Nantucket with a Johnson 140hp. Loved those boats
