Great video and editing! Still sad that I never climbed at Margalef or Oliana when I was strong enough to do so and my elbows could take the abuse :(

Sharma belays without gloves?!
Why should he? If it is not to cold. And what is the advantage? He belaying with a grigri. In the old days, with a figure of eight there was of lot of rope running through your hands in case of a fall. But with a grigi its not.
@@speedsweets67 for additional control & hand/skin protection it's very nice. I know very few people that belay without gloves (and even fewer people that belay without a grigri, so it's not device dependent.)
