Okay for me MOTW has the best one from start to finish followed by ironically enough Smash(Just something about seeing Terry dunking on Sonic's dome made me laugh) Maximum Impact Terry's version is so fast you could barely see it but if you keep with it, the rotating camera really sells it. Special shoutout to SVC Chaos, I loved how they animated it like Rock's Shining Knuckle with Terry blurring out a little bit. And that little nod to the Deadly Rave/Neo with the Buster finish was a nice touch for MI Terry.
Maximum Impact’s style seems to be that it doesn’t have hit stop, to show us how fast and strong the KOF Cast is I guess… too be honest, I don’t know how Maximum Impact has better sound design than KOF XIV-XV, voice acting? It’s obvious but responsive sounds? Nope

Both Smash versions have the best visual effects for Buster Wolf. The cinematic version really shows what SNK could do with it. Really shows how hard Sakurai wanted to show off Terry.
After all these versions the Garou version still reigns supreme! Each frame of the animation, the sound effects and Terry's voice tones. Everything is perfectly placed to create one of the coolest and most impactful super moves ever in fighting game history!
Yeah, I am a fan of his MOTW design too big time since it keeps the same aesthetics as his classic look BUT helps to evolve Terry in a design perspective.
That's one of the worst new voices in the series. Also there's no excuse for a game with 3d graphics in the 2020s perform worse physics than a 2d game in the 90s. He has no clothes physics in the main part of the move. But that is a common problem in KoF 15. Other clothes physics are missing, when they existed in the 2d version of the same move.

What makes the smash version great is that there is very little build up. Terry rushes and punches the opponent in real time, which gives the moment so much more impact.
Buster Wolf is my favorite Terry move and although I like all the versions (especially Garou, Smash and Kof 15) there is something about Garou's version that catches my attention the most, which is Terry's tone of voice, there's a lot of excitement as if he really liked using this move and was enjoying the fight, it gives such an exciting feeling that they ended up leaving it aside in the following versions
Also one thing I'd like to note about the Garou version, it also sounds and it seemed (to me) like hes having trouble controlling it which seemed even cooler

@@MikeWildePredator it's more like a text to speech thing but more advanced to emulate the voices you train the AI to mimick and make them sound less monotone, though with SpongeBob memes they tend to leave it more robotic sounding, but there are some kinda freakishly close AI voices, like those shorts/tik toks where ex presidents Trump, Obama, and current president Biden play Minecraft and say stupid shit.
The camera angles and timing of the voice lines are just too perfect in the final smash version. The piercing blue fire effect also makes the punch itself look way more devastating. Outside of smash, MOTW remains goated. No contest.
I like the smash ultimate one the best, it has a great tone and a voice actor, most of the other ones sound like they strained their throat recording it And the sound effects are so loud you can't hear it

There is none like Terry Bogard's Buster Wolf, and there never will be a technique that equals the speed, power, and precision of such a strong and dreaded technique.

The decline of the buster wolf you mean, in Garou the animation transmits power and pressure that this technique exerts on terry as if you were comparing the detonation of a real weapon that carries a recoil with those of free fire xD
