Alvin Daniell interviews Owen Reyes Johnson known in the Calypso World as "Scrunter", at his home in Sangre Grande. A former Calypso Monarch, Scrunter is known both for his Calypso hits and his Soca Parang songs that put him in demand at Christmas time.

Scrunter!! Started his career with a song "Woman on the Bass" (1980). His songs go back to the 1980s'- "Soca Bacchanal" (1987), "She Want Me To Sing in She Party" (1987), "Doh Jam Dis" (1985), "Judit" (1985), "Oil in the Coil" (1985), "Succoyant" (1985). He is also know for his Parang hits- "Anita" (1990), "Piece of Pork" (1990)- even recently songs like "Eat Something Before You Go". Uncle Alvin, I hope you are keeping well!! (Despite COViD-19).
