I’ve just gone single turbo on my Non VVTI and done 3” all the way with a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator. Haven’t heard it yet as I’m still waiting for other parts.
But man did it change the note a lot, sounds so great 🔥 great job !

Personally I like it better without the resonator but I also went with a Varex muffler with a build in electric valve to quiet down the Chaser and I'm very happy with it.

Did you ever install the Fcd fully ? I thought they were only for non vvti. I’m doing one right now and wanted to see how if went. Thank you

Vvti shouldn't matter, it just interrupts the MAF signal but I installed it and I still had fuel cut. Probably going to pull it out and go stand-alone soon

My 1j recently got a Custom manifold with front mount turbo and… goodbye to 1j Sound. Headache to me because i love 1j stock sound and actually I’m straight pipe just with Vibrant 1142 Resonator Ultra Quiet and still no good exhaust sound🥲
