Howdy 🤠 I’ve been working on cars with my uncle since I was a kid. He has always had some kind of race car, when I turned 20 I started working at Firestone as a flat rate tech and made good money but decided that I’d rather do it for side work when it comes to working on cars. Now I am a construction worker side hustling mechanic work. Having this scanner would be a game changer for me, I don’t get to do a lot of engine diag because I don’t have a good scanner

I am a weekend warrior who works on my own vehicles as well as for friends and family. I didn't become interested in auto mechanics until my early 30's, but I absolutely love it. I had 10 years into my current profession with serious time and money invested, so I couldn't justify changing when I will be retiring soon. At that point, I will begin my second career wrenching, and I am stoked about it. I'd love to have a nice scan tool, for sure!

I needed to leave my hometown and uti was best choice in my eyes back then. The experiences of leaving the nest to pursue an automotive career at 17 being a first generation Latino was all worth it. My name is Gabriel , I’m a head technician for a independent repair shop for Toyota and Lexus only . I’ve been in the automotive flied for the past 5 years now , at the moment at the shop it’s just me and my boss and 1 lube tech . But since my boss takes care of all the office work , it leaves me to do all major work and just this year I gain my bosses trust in opening shop for him , interacting with customer and also making charges and writing quotes for customer as well as assistant them with questions and concerns. I work 12-14 a day but my tool set isn’t the greatest but I do get by with what I have now .
So not only am I a head tech , I manage the shop for my boss . We have over 9000 customers and a 5-star rating on yelp and we’re always booked up 3-weeks in advance.

Love the videos brotha, always appreciate the time you put into them and how honest and informative they are when it comes to your experience on things!
I've been working at my current independent shop working on European cars for roughly 2 months now which has been pretty tricky as I got into cars and working on them as a hobby with older 90s Japanese cars. Definitely learning a-lot from just being thrown into big jobs with no help basically or being taught things other than the good ole trial and error, also the expense of attempting to build a good tool box on practically minimum wage has been rather tricky. But i'll get there! We use Autel scanners in the shop but typically is always taken by our master mechanic in the shop so I have to wait a little longer to use a scanner for diagnosing cars or resetting oil lights, would LOVE to have my own scanner for once but they are too expensive the ones on the truck the starting asking prices are $2k essentially. Definitely would help me out if I got the pleasure of winning this scanner :)
Take care and have a blessed day bro!

I'm a automotive student, going for my associates in Automotive Technology. I graduate in December. Being that I'm a college student, it's fair to say that I'm no where near being financially stable. I plan to get a dealer job after graduating, and a scan tool like this would be perfect for me.

    Hey Man.
Currently I'm studying at an automotive college to get my associates in automotive technology and after finishing that I'm considering moving on to engineering. Watching your videos makes me realize that being a mechanic can become a headache so maybe an engineering career might make life little bit easier... Respect tho, learned a lot from u🤘💪🔧

Its a really cool scan tool
    I am an Automotive enthusiast
I like to work on cars
I did most of the repairs to my 08 Nissan Sentra by myself
My car has a pretensioner error which I couldn’t read with regular scan tools
It would be great if i get this
    Love your content ❤

Awesome video Nick! Scan tool seems to have many features and versatility for the price range. (maybe repeat that Silverado battery test. Electrical rule # 1 measure 2 or 3 times, repair or replace once.) Peace and continued success to you!

DIY guy. I've got a cheap Bluetooth OBD scanner to test errors, works great for basic diagnostic, but wanted to try something advance, specifically to run EVAP test.

Currently working as an independent mobile mechanic in Atlanta, Georgia. Someone broke into my work truck about 3 weeks ago and stole a bunch of tools, and my scan tool as well 😢 Unfortunately, I have not been able to afford a new one and am running an older generation one from years ago that works with Android or ios device, and it has very limited capabilities. I've been making it work the best I can, though, and would love to get a new one!! To the guy who stole my stuff, I got you on camera bro and they are looking for you!!

Amazing bi-directional scan tool with all the features and accessories at that size. It's almost dealerships scan tool. Being a DIY I work on our cars with a regular scan tool.

Working on anything now a days it’s pretty mandatory to use a bi directional scanner, I would love to have this at, I just started to learn more about how to use a scanner to help aid in diagnosing electrical concerns like windows in- op and such but I would love to have my own instead of asking to borrow my co worker’s.
