Lay a Garland on her hearse
    of dismal yew,
    Maidens, willow branches wear,
    say she died true.
Her love was false, but she was firm
    Upon her buried body lie
    lightly, thou gentle earth.
Performance at Camelback Bible Church, Paradise Valley, Arizona
On October 9th 2021, the Chorale's first concert, for a limited audience, following the Covid-19 hiatus.

Well, this is simply the best rendition of 'Lay a Garland' that I have heard. (Sorry Voces8 😔) - So sensitively and sublimely sung. What balance between the parts, and each part making space for the next part to rise and be heard. Wow.👏 Kudos to your artist director, and also to the sound engineers - great job. Thank you all.

The choir is excellent. They must find it trying to ignore the conductor's flapping hands, his huge gestures working against their quiet phrasing.
