I don't know if it is just me, but i just don't rate South African league. It is well organised, good welfare for players and they have excellent facilities. The standard of play however is not up to the hype that the league is enjoying

The farmers league? Which team is the current champion of the new AFL. What about the Nigerian league? Can your current champions beat any team from South Africa or North Africa? . Less passionate beings you have your local teams but you support European leagues . A Derby between Chelsea and Arsenal will leave the stadium empty between Enyimba and Heartland or who ever big teams out there. Our players dream about playing in our league yours dream about playing in other countries. Any team from PSL can beat any team from Africa. Some EPL teams know who we are. Is there any Nigerian team ever beat an EPL team? Man city came to South Africa lost to Pirates and Supersports. , Man unted once beaten By Kazer Chiefs Totenham has lost I don't know how many times to SouthAfrican teams. Glasgow Rangers beaten by Sundowns 2-0, Hearts of Midlothian betean by Swallows. Only Arsenal which came and beat both Pirates and Chiefs. 1-0 1-0. Yes we are not the best league in the world but surely one of the best in Africa. A team ranked 2 in Egypt Pyramids was knocked out by by relgation threten team called Marumo gallnts who are now relgated. What does that tell you? Even your best players struggle to play here. Only Raphael Chukwu and Okonkwo who made it in South AFrica. Right now your country is struggling against our neighbours who don't have good league then you come and tell me its a farmer's lague?

Thanks for sharing this video of Nwabali with us. It seems like we the fans know better than thr NFF. This Nwabali is good enough to man the post for Nigeria but NFF won't allow our best players and keeper to get in the Super Eagles. So sad.
That aniagboso guy of the flying eagles should be given a chance. He performaned well at the u20.
His agility and handling is average tbh.
His one on one is decent, same for his reflexes. And positioning.
To get another Enyeama, we need more agile GK.

South African league is better than most African league with the exception of North Africa …They compete every year for African champions league finals or confederation cups..Sundowns of South Africa just beat wydad in the inaugural Africa super league finals…haven said this,most of their other clubs lacks composure inside the 18 box..one on one with goal keeper,,score 2 in 10 chances..This keeper doesn’t deserve a chance in super eagle camp but still preferred him to uzoholeeee (basket}……..Atleast in Africa,SA league is top 3…..They beat any Nigeria teams home and away for the past 5 years…Their national team with the experience of Hugo Broos,will eliminate paseiro super eagles….only luck may be Zimbabwe team because they can beat SA…
I beg to defer. South Africa is not on the same level with SE. It always amazes me when Nigerians often talk thrash about their teams, while pouring encomiums on other teams. The last women world cup is a perfect example where before the games began, there was negativity about the team. I'm glad the super falcons took their critics to the cleaners.
Another funny thing is that most of the critics have never captained a football team nor coached before. That's why their arguments or perceptions are so shallow.
We should learn from top football cultures where they are rallying round their teams whether they win or lose. They have a high sense of commitment and sportsmanship. Yes, there're times when they let their disappointment down but they always get back up and learn from the experience.

Coaching is not about what the fans want, it is having a big picture mentality and the courage to walk a thin line amidst so many constraints.
It takes time to build a winning team. The so many goalkeepers of Nigerian descents that a lot of people are suggesting are just options not automatic replacement. These would still have to go through the process of Super Eagles team assessment ( technical/tactical skills, talent, team fitness, team chemistry or bonding, etc) All these takes precious games caps with the SE.
I remember when the call for okoye was deafening until he finally came, he saw, and he didn’t conquer. Now he has become a ridicule to many fans ( I’m not one of those people). Yes, we need to overhaul the goalkeeping department but it will take more than just replacing the present goalkeepers.
