hey, Ive been trying to make an animated head ugc but I cant seem to find the right tutorial to help me know what I can export or not, I keep getting errors, can you make a vid on that soon? it'd be really useful
@@MD-jk6ng sorry but i only know how to export/import rigs and how to animate them in blender. I don't make UGCs so I don't know where to begin.
bro you literally showed us the actually correct way of doing it. Others say just download the latest ver of blender but you told us the correct version that worked. you the GOAT
youre an angel, ive watched different tutorials, tried the blender from their website, the one from steam, the importing with the plugin never worked, but with yours it worked, the tutorials were the same but the most important thing was, they've never mentioned that you need blender 2.80, really big thx! ❤❤

@@xxdarealprogamerxx5885 i dont think so, there are newer methods and add-ons now though. This video does it an old way but if you research enough you can do it a newer way.

i've downloaded the 2.8 lts version and the plugins and everything but when i open blender to import the models it doesnt show like theres no option to import models, pls explain

For some reason it imports my rig with no textures and a void black head. How do i fix this?
Hi, so I commented something like this to another person. I'm pretty new to this stuff, so honestly I'm not sure. If you're going to export the animation back to roblox, textures and accessories won't matter. Sorry if I couldn't help you.
when i try do rebuilt rig it doesn't work at all like just there line and head just that

Blender 2.8
Named properly
Didn't edit the rig
Correctly exported the rig
If nothing works reopen blender and try agaib
brother, i just imported the rig but it removed my "Man" Body (which is the torso, arms, legs. that i use), now pretty much the body is just the default blocky one and it has no textures. can you help me with this issue?
@@Redtress i said in my video that i dont know how to add textures to rigs in blender. If, when you're finished with the animation in blender, you're going to import the rig into roblox as an animation, it doesn't matter. If you're looking to create animations just in blender, i don't know about that sorry

When I move the bone the part of the body doesn't move, how can I solve it?
Make sure before you add the rig, you rename all the parts like i did

Sometimes, when I try export the rig from Roblox Studio, it is not able to do so; I click on the Export Rig button in the plugin UI, but nothing happens.

@@godvisionn I don't think it is; absolutely nothing happens when I click on the button. No meta parts spawn, no file window pops up, and there is no "Done." popup on Roblox Studio.
Turns out there was an error in the console, and this is what it said.
*Plugin "Blender rig exporter/animation importer" was denied script injection permission. You can grant this permission in the Plugin Manager.*
The only way to fix this was to turn on Script Injection for this exact plugin in the Plugin Manager, and it works again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

click the bones then enter pose mode
I’ve got the rig in blender and I used my avatar but colours are missing will that be a problem later on?
if your'e going to be importing the animation back into roblox, no it won't be.

i think my blender is bugging when i export it it’s fine but when i open the file it shows everything in existence except for the model

@@danielrosa9315 anchor the rig, make sure you have enough storage on your pc, make sure you selected all the parts to export, make sure you export it in the right position, make sure the rig is r6

I don't know why but when I move the arm it only moves the bone, and not the bone and the arm. please help
I figured out that the body and bones are not together like in the video but i don't know how to fix it so when i move the arm it moves the arm and not the arm and the bones at the same time vise versa if i move the bones it wont move the arm
@@tdbtoxic1770 naming them accurately is important BUT sometimes blender bugs out and you have to redo the blender parts

the bone isn't moving with the arm after I pressed rebuild rig.... I don't know where I went wrong :( Also, I used my own account for it with accs and clothing, so I'm not sure whether its supposed to be grey and with no visible clothing or if I messed up somewhere.
I have no knowledge of either Blender or Roblox studio so I apologize if im just being an idiott
@@Neo50000 try using another account. I recommend "pro" because it has 0 accessories

This problem happens if its not blender 2.8
Why does it say there’s an error while I try to import the rig to blender? It says the file can’t be found
make sure you're on blender 2.80
make sure you have all the plugins downloaded correctly
make sure you downloaded the rig into a file you can easily find

When i clicked export in studio it didn't do anything and i had mine just like yours
Maybe its exporting it automatically into a folder with out you roing it? Try searching for it in your downloads if its not there redo the studio steps

So it worked but all that loads is a roblox part and not a rig
