I still remember the first day i listened to this album in June 2011.
I had just received an email from Noisetrade raving about the album.
I immediately downloaded and started listening. I was spellbound! I couldn't wait to share it with friends!
Without exaggeration, this album has changed my life.
Myself and my friend Dave Emerson organized a screening of The Sea In Between at an independent cinema here in Cape Town and brought together a whole crowd of local fans as well as introducing many new people to Josh's music.
Years later songs off the album are still deeply significant to my fiancee and myself. We'll be putting up handwritten and framed lyrics of White Owl, Rise, and Bread & Wine on the walls in our first home and she will be walking down the aisle to Bread & Wine when we get married next month.
I am so thankful to Josh and his family for the music.
And thank you, UTR for this nice anniversary video surprise.

Amazing comment @George! Loved hearing this. As an added celebration, the morning of 10/20/21 (afternoon in Cape Town), UTR will be releasing a 90+ minute podcast episode discussing the impact and significance of this important album. We put our heart and soul into the production, and I think you'll dig it! Find the Gourmet Music Podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, or at this direct link: is.gd/gmpweb.

I was a "latecomer" to the album and only heard it for the first time about 6 years or so ago. At that time I was driving my daughters to school and it was often the morning soundtrack on our half hour commute. So it's still somewhat "new to me". Enjoyed the 10 year celebration conversations and interview flashback. The conversation around "music as a service" is one of the best moments of the conversation with Josh from back then.
