Very good info for mothers out there
Thank you for being here and for your feedback
Very informative video :)
Thank you for watching!
What if the baby still cries afterward and can't fall asleep? I nursed my newborn FOR HOURS on end, but he was never full or happy. This never gets mentioned and expectant mothers are always told they should just breastfeed on demand and things will sort themselves out on their own. My baby refused the breast after a few days of going through this ordeal and we switched to formula. I tried pumping but it was always just drops. Is there something I could've done differently?
I'm so dependent on your videos as I'm going to try, no I will be breastfeeding my son. I've never breasfed before so keeping both my fingers and toes crossed🙈🤞🏽
Yesssss!!! You WILL. Whatever that ends up looking like for you. Plus you are doing the BEST thing you can right now by preparing ahead of time. What are you most worried about with BF?
@@KassiReyes mostly milk supply is my main concern cause when I got my previous child who is 18 now, I didn't have enough. But I was not as informed/resourced as now, so I'm hoping for the best😊
If they don’t want the other side or feed as long on the other side do you pump? Or just wait until they’re hungry again?
My baby will feed for 30 mins and ask for milk after 30 mins again.. is this normal?
What about 10-15 min feeds including both sides. 5.5 month old daughter, my longest BF journey between 3 kids and I’m not sure what’s normal or not
Oh yes, feedings tend to get shorter as babies get older, It really depends on your supply and your baby, but if your baby is staying on their growth curve and has good output just let baby lead the way. Congratulations on making it to 5.5 months! Do you have a goal in mind for how long you want to BF?
Is it normal if just 3-10minute? My baby 2 month
It really depends on your supply and your baby, but if your baby is staying on their growth curve and has good output (pees and poops), this could be within normal for some feeding lengths
As babies get older do feeding times get shorter? P. S. Your videos are so helpful!
Thank you so much! And yes, sometimes feeding get shorter as babies get older and more become efficient at getting milk out. How old is your little one? :)
Thanks for the reply! I have a two month old girl and she’s my first. She usually nurses about 15-20 minutes on one side and takes the other side about half the time. So sometimes she ends up nursing for 40 minutes or more. I’ll be patient if it stays like this but am hoping she gets a little faster!
