I love seeing how the coaches get so excited when USA scores.
That one announcer's voice is so painful to listen to - you could strip wallpaper with it. A disservice to the great play of these teams to have to suffer through it.

I completely and entirely agree with you about Jessica McDonald's sloppy play. I saw her come off of the bench in Paris vs Chile and was not impressed. We have many, many more technically able players. She is not the same caliber as a first and second team options.

agree it has to be a political thing but she is not a good player she cant conect she has slow footwork and sloppy drills, i am from Chile and the only player worth mentioning on the team is the goalkeeper Christiane Endler but the sad part you cant play a match with just one player so i am Team usa
Every video I watch, Jessica McDonald has opportunity after golden opportunity to score but just can't finish. She is taking up space at this point. So many other finishers on the team. And they don't miss when it counts: Rapinoe, Morgan, Lavelle, Press, Lloyd. Even Heath, Horan and Pugh are better finishers. I suspect when it gets down to brass tacks she will be back on the bench.
Lynn Williams played an outstanding game - one goal and assisted on both of the other 2. Still would be hard for her to snag a starting position with so many capable scorers on the roster. However, I am certain she will be included on the roster for the Olympics.
I cannot remember the last time this team lost a game, they are formidable

The main problem with the U.S. in the first half was that most shots were just people taking awkward, hard shots by themselves. Passing to teammates would have led to scores
I don’t know how to spell the name of the US goal keeper but I can’t help but love her, she’s just been improving as time goes on. And christen press is really a play maker. She’s finding all the mistakes of the defense and Canadian goalkeeper and taking those opportunities. She’s just got to work on her accuracy I guess. It’s weird to see this new coach on the sidelines.

honestly I dont like the way USA is playing with this this coach they were doing a lot better before....... nice win anyway but not a 100% agree if we playing the same vs Germany.. ummm please is a different history !
Why? They seem to still be getting used to the new coach and often do get off to a slow start but are they're winning games, and scoring a lot of goals (which was somewhat of a problem under Ellis), also tons of players are finally getting the playing time they deserve like Williams and Press. I think by the Olympics they'll be even stronger than they were at last years WC.
