Try adding a little bit of sesame oil on top after mixing everything then add some seaweed and sesame seeds at the end..it’s a game changer

✋🏾I've done this! I add a tiny bit of sesame oil and scallions to mine. Doesn't take long and she's right, it's filling.
No judgment here bella, I grew up eating fried egg and rice. When the yolk is runny and coats the rice..mmmmmm so good. 💖

Another awesome video! Sometimes when you open up the refrigerator and the cabinets and you’re hungry, and you don’t feel like cooking, you can grab a few things and make it a delicious quick meal! This morning I had just a little bit of leftover black beans with onions and jalapeños in the refrigerator. I heated it in the microwave and when it was hot, I cracked an egg on top. Put the lid back on and cooked it. I put some jarred salsa on it. and it was fabulous! I will definitely have to buy some of the packaged rice to have on hands so I could try it with this recipe! I also would add maybe some sesame oil on the finished dish!

Also keep a rotisserie chicken in the freezer. When you don't feel like cooking, put it in the crock pot. Have gravy in a jar ready, add chicken to cooked rice and gravy on top. If you have fries. Add some to the plate and add gravy on the fries too. So good.

When I was little my mom made eggs, soy sauce, and sugar scrambled together, when half cooked, she'd add leftover rice, and then cook until the eggs were done, and the rice warmed. It was my favorite as a kid, and still is at 73. Quick and easy is the name of the game sometimes.

Looks good to me. I've never seen those little microwarve bowls of rice. I will have to look for them. Very convient. As I rarely have leftover rice in the house I could use to make this, I'd have to plan ahead of time to fix this. Me likely!🥰
They have them in a pack of 8 at Costco for under 10$. They taste really good too

I make something like that for dinner for my family and they love it. And it’s so fast and easy. It’s comfort food. My mom use to make it for dinner too. That’s where I learned to make it from. Lol

Instead of bacon bits i add green onions or frenches fried onions for a crunch. If you really want meat you can cut up a slice of sandwich meat into it... yum!

I did that today on the stove top. Chopped ham, scrambled eggs and that kind of microwavable rice! It was so delicious.
Microwave egg on rice w/ soy sauce and nori was one of my go-to college meals! It was also a breakfast I had a lot growing up. I occasionally added frozen spinach and sesame oil for some veg. Or ofc furikake is good too. Bacon pieces sounds really good…

That's actually not a new egg hack. That's out of the OLD Better Homes and Gardens Microwave All Time Favorites cookbook. My mom had that book. She got so mad at me when I was 14 (roughly 87) when the egg exploded in her brand new microwave. I never cooked an egg in the microwave again. It was a mess.
Lol that's why I'm afraid to do it! I don't want it all over my microwave.
I also exploded an egg in the micro once or twice, lol. It did give me anxiety waiting to see if it would happen and I was relieved when she put the plate on top. 😅 Scrambling the egg keeps it from exploding btw.

I scramble the egg into the rice and microwave it all together and then drizzle with chili oil. Quick, low effort, savory, fills me up so I can function. Sometimes that's all you need.
also delicious if you add some gochujang and sesame oil or perilla oil on top.

What type of soy sauce was that? It had a reddish tint to it instead of being really dark like most .

This is the 2nd video I saw you eat a bloody egg. My mother always discarded, therefore I have also. I'm 63 so I've been doing it a long time. Personally appeal alone it done look right.

Microwave hack that's been going around? We have been doing it since the first home microwaves came out in the 80s, used to do it in a coffee cup, I use butter then break the egg into the cup and use a fork to scramble it hit one minute and use a clean for to put it on your plate

A scramble egg in the rice would have been better for me. However, I don't use a microwave to cook my food. This would not be good for me.🤔

She buys organic from what I've seen of her videos, organic brown eggs are much more likely to have a blood spot. This one was tiny and harmless, safe to eat!

Really it's totally okay. Have been eating eggs that had blood spots since the 60's. I like beef Ribeye Pittsburgh. Sometimes I like my scrambled eggs soft. I don't have an iron gut. I personally wouldn't waste the money or nutrition. To each their own tho.

Microwave rice is so nasty tasting. Get a rice cooker no fus to make regular rice and you can make as much as you want so you don't have to make anyone for a few days
