That was a really unusual and interesting video. I really liked your narrative style and it left me with a rather melancholy feeling. I look forward to seeing more of your travels. Thank you (and Daniil).
Peace to all Ukrainians ✌️🇺🇦
Peace to all Russians✌️🇷🇺
From USA✌️🇺🇸
Thank you for taking the time to produce this! I learned so much.
Enjoy 😊
@@justkate_ruswhat exactly?
Lake Baikal has been on my places-to-visit list before but it"d move way up if the current situation wasn't as it is.
Thanks for a really well made video, may you channel grow 🙂
Great video! Excellent result.
That fungus that grows on birch and is used in teas we know as chaga. It is very expensive in the US, typically selling for over $20 per pound(just over 2kg) in it's raw form. When processed down and prepared for use as tea it can bring in as much as $400 per pound.
It's strongly associated with a long list of health benefits from improving digestion to greater bloodflow(great in cold places). Where the birch grows you can usually also find spruce, and the tips of new growth in the spring also make a great tea for cold climates, and the two strong flavors compliment each other in my opinion.
Knowledge from the native tribes of Maine USA. The Miqmaq and Algonquin peoples.
What you do is great. You‘re showing the world the interesting and special things of boring and dramatic areas of Russia, all to the benefit of peaceful people one day having an easier time to meet again and make friendships. I hope this will come soon for all of us in a single free world. thank you very much for all your efforts and the great quality production.
I wish you long-term success in your forward minded life.
God Bless you for your videos recognising the many different aspects of 🇷🇺. I love your style, you have a fan from Australia!.
Nice to know that 😃 🇦🇺
Looking forward to your next adventure Kate🎉.
Very cool video!
Your videos are getting better and better.
You have a charming presentation, and i appreciate that you show everything from the poverty to the art to the cool environmental features
So desolate yet so beautiful.
Thank you for this tour through landscapes of Russia. If we could only see the beauty in one another and celebrate the diversity, we would see we are more alike than our imagined differences. Thank you from USA. Offering many blessings upon you all. Look forward to more exploration of different sites. ❤❤❤💙🙏💙🙏💙
Sick street art!
Beautiful
This was fun, thanks for this window in to a small town that reminds me of the northern territories in my home of Canada
What is the name of the chewing resin? And the mushroom tea?
Edit: I found out that it's Chaga mushroom!
What a wonderful peek into a little known part of Russia! Thank you for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks for joining me 😊
Those wood houses have survived 100 years or more..and probably will last another 100 years. Wood heated houses are cozy...if the stove well designed to heat water and bake bread too. It looks great place to live!
I wonder what these people think when living in poverty whilst their politicians live on luxury yachts and billion-dollar palaces on their own private resorts 😂😂
Literally every country is like that but keep on going, what do you think about your situation?
Russia struggles because corruption stops wealth from spreading. Allowing people to start their own businesses. Hiring people who then can go on and start their own business. Wealth concentration is a poison to economic growth. This was the experience of the South in the United States before the civil war. Obviously for much different reasons, but the effects are the same.
A lot you missed there, russia is mostly poor due to economic isolation, it has vast resources to sell but the u.s government do everything in their power to keep russia poor to stamp out competition.
Not everything and every place has to run into the most modern standard. Variety makes a country beautiful.
The Experience of the South? How?
Says an American where women sell themselves on only fans to pay college fees while US government funds wars half. World away.
Very beautiful and interesting video. If I can make a little suggestion for more views 1- start with the beautiful landscapes for a few minutes, to catch the interest early. 2- maybe have for at least parts of the video a more relaxed voice, a bit lower. Except where you are happy and excited, the big changes from high pitched to low pitch you do with your voice are a little bit distracting because they are constant. It can be more relaxing if a slightly more uniformly low pitch is used in parts of the video. Dont overcorrect and make it too monotone though! And sorry for the advice I hope it does not come across as rude. You already have a beautiful voice, its just a little advice :)
Thank you 😊 I’m just at the beginning of my way hahah
My two sons and I visited Lake Baikal in May 2006 and stayed on the island of Onkon, (not sure of the spelling). We loved it.
It’s a beautiful island called Olkhon 😊
Thanks for this. I am always sitting and looking at Buyatia in google maps when I am bored at work, and this really added to my interest. I hope Russia withdraws soon so I can go and visit this beautiful place some day.
As I can see it is a dubbed vlog. Could you please give link for the original video if it exists?
Ps. Don't mind. The problem is not accent, I just prefer to listen to "original" voice anywhere, it sound natural and speaks from the heart. If the first version was in English itself I'd like to watch it.
I have a channel in russian

Like the ruzzians do in Ukraine right now?!
@@johnny1893 the average westerner can't tell the difference between a Russian and a Ukranian.
✌️To all.
@@williambarry8015 Yes they can! Ukrainians are not evil, russians yes.
@@johnny1893 collective guilt is against the geneva convention because it is a form of evil.

The ice sculptures are cool, but the Lenin head overlooking them is disturbing
The place she visited, Bikal? Isn't that also the name of a drink or food?
As a buryat person myself, I don't know any food called after the lake, but there is a bottled water brand called "baikal"
I don't speak Russian, i just remembered hearing those two sounded the same.
Many products in ussr were named after geographic places. ural, kavkaz and of course baikal
Do you have a patreon we can support?
Not yet :)
18:58 на счет пузырей, трещин и другой подобной красоты на байкале: она есть, просто не везде можно так легко увидеть, я сам лично видел такое
They have "subways"?! 😮
just like other franchises, like kfc, Macdonalds or burger king, although they did a little re-branding after war started
This is video from year 2022
This is great! As an American I cannot wait to visit Russia in the future. Politics aside, the people and scenery seem wonderful throughout many places. 😊
25:45 the architecture looks Chinese 27:30 these are just like the Chinese baozj 30:00 Buddha
Chinese Baozi derive from Buryat Buuz
I wonder how different are Buryats in Russia and Khalkhas in Mongolia?
i live near buryatia, i also was in mongolia. only big difference is knowledge of russian language
Thats true. I am a Buryat from Mongolia and I dont know any Russian. @@vladikshow8404
different languages + buryats are usually taller
I was there once and I thought it will change my mind about ruzzians… it was before war

Lovely video, recommended by 1420 channel. Baozi are indeed Chinese, from northern China. They are usually steamed, but also fried. There is also a version which is entirely bread called mantou. Saimaa in Finland has real cute seals! They live in holes in snow heaps in winter.
as a buryat person myself, i tried chinese baozi and i wouldn't say that buryad-mongolic boozi and chinese baozi are quite the same. Chinese baozi are way too juicy and the meat is different as well, its too soft. They probably have the same roots, but nowdays they are different.
@@joopa4416 There are different versions of baozi, some with soup inside, and some without.
Have you tried chinese baozi or buryad boozi?
@@user-ts8xd1uc2t Yes, we make Chinese baozi at home.
Doesn’t look so bad… the suburbs is also ok…many italian cities are dirtier and more broken down…
To be honest I didn’t shoot a lot of sadly looking stuff… I prefer to show the best parts of the places I visit
This is 2 yrs old?
Yep
Such an interesting place. Too bad its so neglected. Hopefully the Russian Federation normalizes so people can live and visit there comfortably and peacefully
Mosr people dont realise that 30% percent of Russia is without indoor plumbing and majority of Russia is a third world country though the country is basically a big gad Station the riches go to Putins Regime and Oligarchs with only a ruble here and their going to the people or infrastructure. Its easier to control uneducated, manipulated, poor who are kept doen dependant on that ruble or two from the government to survive. Most dont know any diffrent way. Thats how authoritarian regimes operate. The Republican GOP and red states of USA try to do the same on a smaller scale thanks to Democrats trying to hold the line of for the people Democracy. What a tough trip, gotta to give you a lot of credit for it.
It's 22.6 percent of households without a centralized sewage system, according to UN Summary Report of 2020. Actually not half bad, certainly better than in most post-soviet states, Ukraine included.
Wait, isn't California struggling with issues and Texas booming?
Really? More of that crap? Go into a political forum, please. This is not about any of that downplay of others and constant social separation. You‘re slaves of the agitators pulling for their own benefit, regardless which.

I saw more poorer parts of Russia than Buryata, don´t spread false information.
Annoying English language narration. Just do it in Russian.
Who gives a shit about the language of the swine
I love the sound of Russians and Ukranians speaking English. It's very pleasant to my ears.

They think the same as what poor westerners think about their leaders living in luxury while they live paycheck to paycheck
