what about plastic knobs with rubber bands around them then a cable with 3-4 layers of heat shrink on it, that way you can save the original tone and sound but not get shocked, I plug all my gear into power converters so they get good celan consistent power so they last longer sound better, I shut off the power strip the power converter is plugged into that the power converter I plug amps into. YES I use TWO converters I plug the power converter onto a power conditioner, and that is plugged into a power strip that has a safety breaker all that in it, so my power is very celan and very consistent, if I had another I would use 3 if I had another, one to run two conditioners cleaners, one would run the effects, one would run the amps, I would run them off two totally different circuits o\in the house, 20 amp circuits, also I use better circuit breakers than what comes in most homes, I use a special power conditioner voltage REGULATOR style! then I use a plug in conditioner that will have like 4 outputs, 4 usb so forth all protected.. so that protector runs off a wiring in house that's using a conditioner surge protector circuit.. then a protector conditioner plugged into the wall that I run a power strip fault protector off of. then into that I plug i one power conditioner... I then do the same on a totally different breaker in the box, then I will run my effects off one, the amps off the other .. at times, now I just have everything off one protected/conditioned breaker, then a 4 way usb outlet conditioner filter fault protected box, then the one RR-15 off that, then another RR-15 into that.. effects and amps into t hat, so like quad conditioned .. if I run the two stereo big 100 watt stack then they use their own circuit, 2 RR-15's into a walled conditioner surge protector w/USB's as well, effects would run off a totally different circuit in the breaker box.. I'd like to get an industrial conditioner protector to run BEFORE the breaker box but no go in the place I am at... if I build that's how its going to be, and I will run 2 meters and boxes, one for the home one for the studio/gear so i can start off with good power right off the bat, if you do not think this matters you are wrong, it does, unless you have a conditioned power already, older homes, you want it, anywhere you have a lot of homes near each other, you want it, signals can bleed thru form a blender or whatever, clothes dryer.. filter it out, stabilize it and insure its protected for faults you are good to go, protect your investments and always run good celan filtered power thru them it pays off no jokes, tone alone its worth it to me... you can hear the difference specially at higher draws .. yessir, try it you never know?
I have one of those. It hasn't worked in years but it did have a cool sound. It does have an isolation transformer. How does one determine the correct polarity when putting a polarized plug on

I used to be able to take a jolt back in the day but at my age even jumping into a cold pool is a risk on the old ticker.
