Appreciate your video. I requested my dealer ballast the tires on my L4701 when I purchased. So glad I did. Using the bucket loaded or a grapple lifting heavy objects is sooooooooo much safer with the rear tires ballasted, and most of the time I have my bush hog, disc harrow, or box blade hanging off the back. So far, no issues with any work I've done.

You know what you're absolutely right about everything you said which is normally not something I would say and a you made a really good video actually and that's something I didn't think about the fact that it can give you a rougher ride if you were to balance your tires that's I don't have malice tires right now on my tractor but he made a very good point because that's the only real suspension if any you know on a tractor your your tires so

My experience with double wheel weights and tge hoe on back EXCELLENT. No real reason for not filling tires just felt uncomfortable. All the best🎉 safe-FUN- tractoring

interesting video, i recently purchased a 2023 ck2620, they are going to put a anti-freeze/water mix into the tires, how much ballast weight will this add to my rear? also is this adequate to simply move at a low height 5x4 rounds bales? we are talking about 50 years from a corral to feeding area. I have no need for any implements at this time..

do some measuring on your tires and search the formulas to calculate. or take it to your local truck scales to get the exact difference

Back in the day a tractor wasn’t a tractor unless the tires were loaded!…all tractors typically had their tires loaded but when these smaller compact tractors started to become more popular, people didn’t load the tires because most small tractors are 4WD and if you are using the tractor to mow your lawn, having a heavier tractor is not necessarily an advantage because it tends to rut your lawn…I had an M59 TLB and the tires weren’t loaded on it but if you took the backhoe off then it could barely get out of its own way in 2WD…

How much weight does Agrilim add to two standard R14 tires on the rear of an LX 2610? Are there times I would still want a ballast box too? Are filled tires too much weight with a backhoe?

Filled tires are no issue with a backhoe! If you go to the rim guard website it can give you an approximate weight depending on tire size. Yes there would be times you would still need a ballast box, depending on what you are doing.

Takes weight to move weight.... Ever seen a small tractor pulling 110 000 lbs . It's amazing. But you you need the weight to handle the weight.

WAY to many dealers "including my local pape JD" dealer don't take ballasting seriously. I live on a property with 15-25° slopes so.
