Being from the US I don't get to see much British tv. I don't have cable so everything I get is on the internet or over the air. Hello my darlings, As an expat living in Berlin, I'd love to thank you so much for sharing on CZcams! Before my Mother (96) passed away, 18 months ago, she would ragail about your programme, telling me all about it, on one of our 'short' daily phone calls (of much over an hour😊) Having now found you, I'm in absolute agreeance! Thank you so much for making my mother so happy , and thank you for making me so happy 😊 ❤Claire

I met Mel at uni. She was one amazing lady! I fell in love with her but never told her! I spoke to her once and said HELLO. She said it back to me and I almost died of happiness! What a Lady!
That is terribly sweet. Pity I am wrong generation and not in right country, or I would have chatted to her and dragged you with me. At least she would have known about you and felt at ease to chat. I will happily talk to anyone. You could have had a very sweet little niche romantic film. Very repressed British. And we all would know what broke the spell, or not, and how you both found your eventual true loves. Do you know of a little channel that puts out from the first series, 8 out of 10 cats, without the countdown? Mel is in one episode of the first series, looking so pretty and young - and still so nice.
@@georgielancaster1356 Thanks so much Georgie. I guess us Brits are a bit repressed! She was a year ahead of me and our paths didn't cross very often. Love at first sight, I think they call it. Sorry, but I don't know the answer to your question.

This episode was lighthearted, even silly at times, and thoroughly enjoyable. I am American and did not know the guest host, but liked her quirky style. I also like how the writers tried better than before to provide audio clues for Chris.
