    Great lecture as always, full of beautiful insights. A funny thing I wanna tell. Just now I have come from gym where I was listening to this lecture. He talked about how Islam is necessary especially in our times and gave the example of cyclers and how they don't look around to see the beauties of the nature. He suggested perhaps they could just go to gym and do something very futile, i.e cycling in the gym 1:03:00 🤣🤣 there goes my gym 🤣🤣🤣

    Most faiths, in being different than the path of the revelation and inspiration through a prophet, have made their culture or sanctified figures, thereof, out to be the example for life. That is a huge reason why the jumble of that, community history, and elite interpretations got mixed into a changing text that tended to stagnate in terms of progress.

    To propose monotheism is not a unique proposition of Islam seems to disservice the message of the Quran… eg
    وقالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصرى المسيح ابن الله… قاتلهم الله… وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إله واحدا

      @@MAX-tw3qz Really, weren't they saved from Pharaoh and before their feet had become dry, they were worshipping the golden calf?
      Admittedly, this action was chastised, but the point is a Jew can be as fallible; commit blasphemy and polytheism like anyone else.
      Here are some other thoughts for your benefit:
      1. Compare these two passages:
      Exodus 31:17
      "... for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”"
      Quran (50:38)
      " So I said to him: "We do not worship them." He replied: "Don't they forbid what Allah allows, so you forbid it? Don't they allow what Allah forbids, so you allow it?" I said: 'Yes.' He said: "That is how you worship them." "
      2. Hadeeth of Adi ibn Hatim (ex. Christian priest)
      " So I (Adi) said to him: "We do not worship them (i.e. rabbits and monks)." He (the prophet SAW) replied: "Don't they forbid what Allah allows, so you forbid it? Don't they allow what Allah forbids, so you allow it?" I said: 'Yes.' He said: "That is how you worship them."
      And it is well known that classically and perhaps even to today "theocracy
      Despite the significant overlaps in the concept of God between Islam and Judaism, the concept and comprehensiveness of monotheism in Islam is unique to Islam.

    I often wonder if God wanted us to have the perfect book to live our lives by. Why didn’t he just click his fingers and have one appear upon a rock in the 195 countries of our world and in the 6000 languages of our world, because millions and millions of people died that never heard of Islam and millions and millions died before the year 570 when Mohammed was born. Were these people not important. Or is that question we should not ask of ourselves.

    There is a growing number of Religious Reformers who question the authenticity ofmany of the Hadiths in the current Imam's Book .

      Every nation has had a prophet from God to guide them to Him
      The Quran says
      "Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner." Quran35:24
      And regarding the people that never heard of Islam , the Quran says:
      "And never would We punish until We sent a messenger." Quran17:15

    There is a sufficient number of disgusting and grotesque so-called hadith claims attributed to Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) in the Bukhari collection that renders his work to be reasonably disreputable.

    • @bittertruth6575
      @bittertruth6575 Před 2 lety

      That's based on your own stupidity for not understanding the context and background behind those hadith. That's why the Muslims don't 'follow only the literal words of hadith'. We follow 1) The Qur'an - along with it's context 2) The Sunnah - different from hadith (fools think they are the same thing). It includes the Seerah (history) 3) Ijma - The consensus of the majority of Muslims past and present 4) Qiyas - analogy/reasoning to derive new rulings.
      The science of fiqh is about reconciling the differences between all the verses of the Qur'an, the different hadiths, the Historical context, the lives of the first 3 generations etc. We look at things as a whole.

  • @ABel-oi5kv
    @ABel-oi5kv Před rokem

    There is a major neglect of the Holy Quran in this Ummah .﴿ وقال الرسول يارب إن قومي اتخذوا هذا القرآن مهجورا ﴾ الفرقان
    We all claim it is an everlasting book but we fail to study the words used in it ...Somehow since Alshafiei الشافعي adopted the theory of synonymous words in Quran نظرية الترادف ...We failed miserably to understand the true power of this book ....Somehow words like الوالد والاب والزوج والبعل وجعل وخلق وانزل ونزل و نساء نسائهن ويتامى النساء .....etc
    The terms in the Holy Quran are not synonymous !!!!!(المؤمنون ) are the followers of the prophet (pbuh )& all his rituals...(المسلمون) in the Quranic text are the believers of the first shahada !!!
    Quranic terms should be the only terms adopted by muslims ...Not the terms of scholars of the seventh century ....
    Scholars are not infallible and should not be treated as such ...No Hadith should replace or overpower a Quranic text , Ever .
    الحرام شمولي وابدي ولا احد يحرم سوى الله ، النبي لا يحق له التحريم ،الحرام محدد في كتاب الله : قال تعالى : (قل تعالوا اتلو ما حرم ربكم عليكم ....)
    الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ينهى ويامر ولا يحرم ...
    This is precisely why the word used in Quran is (وما اتاكم الرسول What the prophet brought to you) ...ٱتاكم : is a verb that means to bring from someone else ...vs جاءكم is a verb exclusively used when talking about something coming directly from a single original source ....
    The meaning of that is : We are supposed to obey the Quran brought to us from God by The prophet !الذي اتانا به رسول الله من ربه
    That is why the verse is Not :
    ×××××( !!!!!!!!وما جاءكم به الرسول فخذوه !!!!!!! )×××××××××
    The so called sunnah is not the source of religious law ,Quran is .
    if you add to that ,the fact that the Prophet (pbuh ) did not receive revelation at all times in all his actions ...otherwise we wouldn't have chapters in the Quran that blame the النبي for his mistakes : يا ايها النبي لم تحرم ما احل الله لك .....also عبس وتولى .....Quran is the Only divine revelation ...The prophet does not deal with the forbidden الحرام but only operates within the permissible during his time as a Husband or as a Statesman or as a warrior.....NOT AS A SOURCE OF RELIGIOUS LAW !!!!.
    We should be doing the same in our era by following the guidelines & operating within the limits of the Quran exclusively.
    (Apologies for the not so eloquent English)

  • @lallakhan7695
    @lallakhan7695 Před 2 lety

    Sallam, Mr. Murad,
    1.Allah is the creator. La ila Il'Allah. The Quran is the instructions to mankind and the Quran is clarified by the Sunnah, with our Rasool, p.b.u.h as highest nobility, gentleness and most exquisite of characters, the example to be a certain Muslim type of muslim.
    2. However kindly rethink your description on aboriginal nature of Islam.
    3. Its Distinctly forbidden in the Quran to worship created things such as the sun and the moon. For Muslims , Allah is the creator La ila il' Allah.
    4. As worshippers, we are weak as Muslims yer we must strive and struggle because the sole objective is Allahs pleasure.
    5. Furthermore, kindly reassess your thoughts on modernity and Islam being primeordial. Muslims believe in All the prior Prophets including Nuh A.S., Ibrahim A.S., Musa A.S. and our Rasool p.b.u.h. Thus we arrive with ways to incorporate their message and instructions for in the Quran Majid, and they were accepted by the Rasool as carrying Alla. Thus the learnjuxtaposition of ancient times with modernity can be explain with final seal Rasool p.b.u.h. All previous Prophets knew he was due to arrive with Allahs Quran Majid and they all accepted this High reality.
    6. Islam spans the Millenia, and each Prophet adding their own mark of distinction. Each civilization has left their hallmark of Disobedience to Allah through their architecture. Then each Prophet reminds us, it's not our wealth, our status, any possession but only whether Allah accepts our worship. As the the Rasool p.b.uh. had a final message for us, and he is Allah's final Messanger.
    7. Ghazzali is a crossover to evil. He takes the pearls of Wisdom given to us by Allah and His Messenger. He dilutes evil thoughts of human beings. Everything is clear. The Quran tells us satan is the worst enemy of man. It's for us to remain vigilant and seek Allah's guidance. In conclusion Sufism is the devils creation, diluting the message and blaspheming. There's only the Truth of Allah.that is evil
    8. Worship is not psychological, its the Reality, and the only Reality is Allah's. Furthermore, Allah permits everything good so that we can learn our limits, and unfortunately we do evil along the way due t o how weak we are.
