- Panama is blessed to have diverse climates. You can live at the beach, but in less than an hour, you can be in the mountains or vice versa. So picking the best place to live in Panama is a personal choice.
Daytime temperatures at the coast are 90F (+/- 5) or 32C. For every 1000-foot increase in elevation, the temperature drops 4 degrees. So, you can literally pick your ideal temperature.
In this video, Larie talks about how she determined the best place to live in Panama.

Lovely home and she has such a great attitude!
It's an amazing home and she has the perfect attitude
****. Last time we were in that area it 2007, it has grown a lot. Great information ***. There is an app called voice it translates as you talk or write. Are you going to get into the real estate business in Panamà???
I am so close to coming for a visit, I already have my police background check done for my permanent visa. Larie's experience is so inspiring and motivational.
you will be AMAZED when you see Panama!

Thanks for visiting
Thanks Larie. This was a truly enjoyable video - s informative, so easy to listen. I was sorry it ended! I'll be there in a couple months thanks to Jackie and PRT!!
Glad you enjoyed the video
Very informative video, thank you. That area really reminds me of everything that I liked about living in Hawaii (ocean, hiking, sailing, farmers markets, local pubs) but affordable! I'm visiting Panama for 2 weeks at the end of Dec on a relocation fact finding mission and can't wait to check out this area too.
You will LOVE Panama!
Very helpful, because the subject does a lot of comparison between Coronado & Boquete. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful
See you on the beach....Sandra..
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Is the electricity SUPER expensive like in Panama City? 🇵🇦 Is it the IRHE that provides electricity still in Panama, or are there private companies? 🤔 $1,200 rent per month for that 2 bdrm apt with that view is VERY cheap. 👍 Love how laid back you are and how you handled your car being rear-ended, foot surgery, and the burgarly. You're a cool cat. God has touched your soul, and it's a BEAUTIFUL one. God bless you and keep you healthy and happy. 😊 VIVA Nueva Gorgona, Panama 🇵🇦
Thank you for your kind comments. I pay less than $20.00 a month for electricity!
@@Lariesj Wow - That's very inexpensive. Thanks for the input.
how much is the HOA ?
Excellent question! This is the reason why a lot of people are moving out of Florida HOA
@@TheMaryDoll Yes, that is why I asked the question. Still waiting for an answer. Between HOA and Condo fees, you can never accurately budget for the next year. My condo in Miami went from $300.00 a month to over $800.00 a month and that DOES NOT include insurance. With Condos you don't own the building. You only owned from the drywall in. But you still have to pay outrageous condo fees and are at the mercy of the board.
how much are your condo fees per month
11:40 - the self-proclaimed table tennis champion of the complex makes an appearance! Unfortunately, our tour didn’t stay long enough for a challenge to be made, but I plan to return and test myself against this Prince of the Paddles!!
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Very informative- looking at Panama and Ecuador. Is there flat water kayaking in the area?
Good video.
Glad you enjoyed it
You sound SO much like me!! I’m saving your video to watch again. How much are the HOA dues? I knew there had to be some but you are the first to mention them.
Would love to move there
Come on down! You'll love it!
@@PanamaRelocationTours I'm gathering my paperwork now. I won't be able to do one of your tours unfortunately but I'm starting my paperwork
Love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘
Hi there ,at looks prety empty at Royal Palms ,is it always like that? Also any noisy music around there? Thanks
There are a lot of snowbirds at Royal Palm. They only come from December to April. There are certainly some noisy parties there and from the place next door.
@@PanamaRelocationTours Thank you somuch for respond .would you reccomend Bahia to Royal Palms ?
What Church do you go to?
What's the procedure to live there? I'm intrested in knowing. Tks hun
To live in Panama you need to get a visa. The most popular visa is the Pensionado Visa, for retirees. To qualify, you need $1000 per month in lifetime income, like Social Security or pension from a job. When you get this visa, you get a lot of discounts too. See more details at panamarelocationtours.com/why-you-should-get-a-residency-visa-in-panama
I tried to google Westfield Mall that she mentioned in the video but nothing came up, did they rename it?
It's Westland Mall -- www.westlandmall.com.pa/
omg... talking about moving to Panama and all you care about is a shopping mall? stay home then.
Hello, you didn't say what you paid for the HOA. Would you be willing to share that? Thank you for the Video.
I will ask Larie what her HOA payment is
HOA is $239.
Is there a market around or a decent grocery store???
There are many excellent grocery stores in that area. See our other video about grocery shopping in Panama.
@@PanamaRelocationTours thanks will do
I am really interested in your building. 1)What’s the location and name of your building?
2) Are there any units available to rent? If yes how much?
Thank you
in the video, we showed two units for rent for $1200
seriously - can you not find it from the map they showed?
Its exactly like florida
The lady was friendly and the video is great, but it was bugging me that that painting was crooked in the background.😮
what is the name of your condo/apt it is absolutely beautiful
BAHIA
Is it possible to live without the inside electric fan ? By that I mean will the inside furniture automatically get moist due to humidity by absence of electric fan, or are there other ways to prevent that upper humidity ? I actually don't like inside artificial winds at all and prefer to use a manual fabrics fan.
if you live at the coast, it would get very hot without fans or air conditioning. If you live in the highlands, you would not need fans or AC
There are other ways. I just like moving air. The fan is not for humidity.
How much did it cost?
she would rather not share what she paid for her condo. It was a really good price!
When talking about your vehicle accident, a Lexus SUV was shown. Is that your vehicle? I had asked in an expat group one time about vehicle brands, and Lexus was not mentioned. The reason I ask is I drive a Lexus in the US now.
Lexus is not common in Panama but they are available - usually from someone who shipping it into Panama.
@@PanamaRelocationTours what are the common brands there? I know there is Toyota and Honda.
@@michaelbarker742 Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Nissan are the most common brands here in Panama
@@michaelbarker742 omg, you make it sound like it's another planet! another one who should just stay in the US if you are concerned about what vehicle brands are available!
I wonder there are no population there
