You Sir...are a genius. Thanks for posting this up. Only thing I still don't understand is the rotary know feature of pushing it left and right. I understand the rotating feature but what the hell does the in and out feature on this knob do?
I figured out how to use it but the bike will not remember the settings (such as date and time). Every time I turn the key to the off position it loses its memory. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!
Hello Vicky, it's pretty easy, but it does depend on what year bike you have. It is in the menu "USER" and is the "BACKGOUND" Sub Menu. Select Speedo (If it's a 2013 or Newer) and you'll be good to go! Please note though when the Radio is turned on, the radio information supercedes the digital speed information on the display. Enjoy!!
Hey Webb. You mentioned in this video that you would be making another video that dealt strictly with the audio part of the bike which is what I am really interested in learning more about. Have you guys made that video yet? I haven't been able to find it. BTW...thank you so much for these very helpful and informative videos! I have all of them favorited!
It amazes me all the brains over there at BMW with all the technology and electric gadgets and all that other crap but they don't do self canceling turn signals what a nightmare 🤣😭😢👎😂
Good explanation. But, the bike is not a car. You probably do not need all that features on the bike. Or you do? (too distractive by my humble opinion)

Just purchased a k1600gt how do you get digital speed readout on the dash ?

Wow! That is about the worst user interface I've ever seen on any device. Positively DANGEROUS on a motorcycle. BMW should be ashamed of themselves.
