This woman was robbed of a normal childhood, yet she talks about her past with such grace. She’s gorgeous and she shows her true age in her beautiful face! Shows how much she’s smiled and enjoyed life to the fullest. :)

@@arianaval3557 Your points are very valid and heard, let me actually clarify what I meant because it was a little vague. I was referencing back to where Brooke Shields at around 11 was exploited, to this day her nude photoshoot as a minor is still on the internet and I believe her posters are still being sold. I had meant, no child should ever have parents that exploit them in that manner. However, it doesn’t negate how many amazing roles she took on throughout her life and displayed immense talent and still does! Then I went on to say even though she was exploited as a minor, still to this day she speaks of her career with grace and is grateful for the many things that did occur in her life. Thank you however for sharing your thoughts because what you said is very true. :)

She even said that she never wished to live like an ordinary girl because she enjoyed what she was doing while also having a chance to live like everyone else like going to school.

I watched blue lagoon yesterday for the first time, I understand people's feelings over the story but I found it really good.
I don’t understand why the performances are criticized. Brooke and Christopher did a great job selling their parts. They perfectly spoke and acted like children raised in isolation. And the story’s very well written. All the unnecessary child nudity is the only real problem with the film.
@@hydrokineticpowerhouse at the time I first watched the Blue Lagoon i found all the Brooke nudity to be VERY necessary. Of course I was 8 at the time.
@@hydrokineticpowerhouse It was on purpose because it was all about the innocence of the children growing up in a place with no bodyshame and to see how they'd handle growing up. The thing is just that fiction meets reality in a weird way so that in a movie people may be thinking the exact wrong thing. While I was a young girl when I saw it and i just took it as it was meant, but nude bodies are not as sexualized here.
The only issue I had was that you would not fall in love with the person who you see as your sibling no matter what they look like.

I thought Brooke Shields was going to talk about her wardrobe in Endless Love. That white victorian lace dress, and trench coat at the end were so stylish even by today’s standards. The clothes in that movie were well chosen to make her appear youthful in high school and grown up at the end.
This woman just evolves into more graceful beauty with each decade. Still stunning. I just watched Castle For Christmas and it’s a fun cozy perfect holiday movie.

Why does everyone always ignore Endless Love when talking about her career? The book by Scott Spencer is amazing, the cast was wonderful in the film, Brooke was beautiful in it, and Endless Love was directed by Franco Zeffirelli.
@@Yo-iq4tc totally get what your saying, but she NEVER talks about it. I would love to hear her experience working with Zeffirelli and making that film. Or to hear about the costumes. Her white dress outfit in EL is very unique, I wonder how they came upon it.

I have to admit it has been an absolute pleasure to watch her grow up in the last almost 5 decades. I'm only 6 years younger than her. When I was 9 I thought she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Back then they dressed teen models to look like adults mind you. So I had no clue she was actually a teenager.
