Some interesting ideas for sure. I like the rack on the rear for carrying a walk behind snowblower. Whether you did that just to have the snowblower with you while plowing snow down the block, or to serve as extra weight on the rear for better traction, it's pretty helpful either way. And, I like that you are just having fun and tinkering!
@@chaserodley I like to draw ideas out on paper for stuff like this. Ideas for my small farm, tractors, ATV's and such. I'd like to build a small FEL for a garden tractor or ATV to clean a couple of horse stalls out. I can't maneuver inside the barn with my New Holland TC29DA tractor. Thanks for the inspiration and ideas.
You know that tractor does not weigh enough to do anything other then mow you really should consider a garden tractor since they are meant for this type of work.
Braydon Roberts oh you are absolutely right hahaha. For me it was more about the tinkering and having fun with it. Definitely not for intended use lol. Thanks for watching though
@@chaserodley yep I hear ya I was kind of interested in both I started out with a troy built riding mower but was finding out how useless it was that's when I got into JD 214 with a hydraulic lift best decision I could have made.
I don't think any of those small driving mowers are meant for pushing nothing specially not for no snow they can't even make it a few feet from the shed without spinning the tires because those aren't for snow they aren't even hardly made for rain Now you could rig a push mower were the scoop would go or something like a lighter weight brush cutter to the front would do lots good. If I had a brush cutter i wouldn't even need no deck no more just hook up like a wagon
@@Mike-su8si a John deere 214 is a old school garden tractor that weighs 660lbs by itself the typical riding mower only weighs around 300lbs-400lbs and has a very small transmission with little torque. The 214 series have a geared transmission with a better torque output and limited slip and a very beefy large frame. They will easily move snow rock dirt mulch etc. I have seen one literally tow a chevy truck up a hill.
@@braydonroberts4887 the 1990 models or older with the larger transmissions those would be capable of getting those jobs done I noticed the 90ies craftsmen does have a bigger transmission than all my small ones Mine can pull some weight but not much my 1996 craftsmen pulls better than this new used john deere L110

Men are so important. I love it!
You always have solution for problem. Great experiment and fun project.
