Yeah that doesn’t hold well when you’re trying to make a channel happen. Everyone always complains about mailday videos (there’s where you get the singles) so they get the worst views.
Singles don’t get pulled unless SOMEONE is ripping boxes first.

They’ll replace it with that damage for sure. I’m not sure I’d call him a nobody, I think he still has a solid chance of being an everyday NHLer. Not exactly $270, but at least get a decent card in hand and see what you can recoup.

I really like the Blue Trax but really Carey Price was done well before these set was even finished.
That sucks with the Auto. I would definitely contact UD about it. The worst part the auto looks to have been done right over top what ever that is.

At first I thought it was a spotlight effect on the auto card, but then when you tiled it and I could see it went all the way down, wow. From videos that I've seen, the matte pinks are printing lines down the entire face of the card. I've seen some cards that aren't centered properly as well, but not as bad as last years. If they can't print them properly, then just scrap the line. Or redo it. Boo to you Upper Deck.

That was a rough box. It’s really hard to find the value in buying boxes of anything lately. It seems like as soon as there is a decent return on a product the prices start to climb up to make it not worth your while to buy.
It also seems that Upper Deck sends most of the nicer cards to the group breakers.

$270 for zero QC is abysmal. We're gonna be pushing the price of The Cup soon for regular hobby boxes.
I got OPC on release day at my LCS for $79 and went last week and it's almost double now. Hobby is getting too rich for my blood, and I only buy 2 boxes/year lol.
I feel like that will be a reality sooner than later! I don't know who UD will be marketing to. No one will be able to afford to buy their crappy products!

That sucks man. There has to be more people dissatisfied over it. Complain to them anyways. At least they see people are rotted. Be different if it were a $50 product. The Price was sweet. Thank god it wasn’t someone like Bedard. Hopefully things get better. I’d stay away from this crap tho. Last years was brutal. Not much changed.

Well, your silence towards the end of the video says it all. Absolutely horrid QC for a product you can't even invest in anymore. I prefer you stick with it.
Last year's version was an embarrassment. The centering in every card was terrible among other things. With chromium products you can always expect print lines, bad centering and other imperfections. It's just something you can't escape. What bothers me, is the fact that they sent out that card to Berggren to sign knowing in advance that it had a horrible imperfection. That's what tells me that they don't care about what they put in this product. I would most certainly request a replacement bc he could still turn into a solid NHL player and carry some value. This stuff is most certainly going to plummet in price bc people are keeping their money for the Bedard hunt and $270 for this product on release day is laughable. Don't give up yet bro. We appreciate your videos and it will hopefully improve for you with yet to be released products.
Thanks for the kind words!! Upper Deck is really making it hard for me to continue to buy their shitty products! I truly love this hobby, but when enough enough. Nothing will ever change when group breakers buy up all of there shit!
@@crtoppi agreed. I've had disdain for Upper Deck going back 15 years and it just seems like it's getting worse. As much as I hate Panini (way more than Upper Deck) hockey products were much more enjoyable when there was market competition. Now I stick to buying the Black Friday mega boxes at Walmart and OPC hobby boxes. I won't even entertain anything else they sell so it's hard for me to see guys like yourself who do hobby reviews getting shit on by the QC inadequacies. Just know you got members in your community who appreciate what you do even if you decide to take a break.
Sorry buddy, that's another slap in the face by UD for a so-called premium product. No excuse for a damaged card getting signed, definitely email them your disgust with a video link. You deserve something in return for that!!
