I have actually had 6-8 Texas hogs try to car jack me. One of them got hit by the bumper of my truck, slid 30 feet and ran off. One hit the door and got run over by the rear axle and also ran off. I guess they realized they were out matched and the rest ran off.

I thought the bungee was a gimmick until I got one for a marlin 30-30 lever. Lots of hiking in the mountains and it was significantly helpful. Great video man, much more of the style I prefer.

In paintball we used to call that bouncing the trigger but we also had longer triggers and used two fingers to walk it so to speak…
Yeah walking a half ounce double trigger is much easier.

2 point sling is only way to go. I’ve never understood a 1 point. I use a ‘bungee’ sling. Found it to be the best
Look up Slogan Outdoors. You’ll be happy if you have a sling that’s always falling off your shoulder.
While I occasionally take issue with you tone and tact, you do offer many worthwhile insights and bits of information. I can't giggle twitch half as fast as you, but it's something I can see getting the hang of with practice and a significant raise at work.

Notice how many times you opened the bolt just manipulating the rifle? One reason I went back to just running a standard charging handle. I would notice the bolt would be out of battery or one time it ran the bolt and ejected a round when I jumped down. Standard handle I haven’t had that problem. Been loving all your videos Overton!

I used to play paintball back in the 2000's during the Dye Precision, Smart Parts Impulse/Ion days. We used to do that with just our middle and index finger. Called it ramping. Got about 40-45 bps. Yes balls per second. Fucking fast guns. But yeah, I vouch for this. The rifle makes it different, so using your whole wrist would make it easier for sure. 👍

Question, do you think this technique can be applied to a civilian IAR/LSW/SAW (whatever acronym you wanna use for auto rifles) weapon? Is firing this fast doable for long periods of time without fatigue? Could a automatic rifleman on a budget employ this successfully is what im gettin at.
With a bit of practice it probably would. Might be more awkward in the prone

Because it was literally a video of purposely bump firing after he talked about how the technique could be used to improve your bump fire position if you felt inclined? Watch AND listen perhaps? You really have to push the rifle tight into your shoulder to make the actual technique consistently accurate, so although recoil may help it's definitely not classic loose bump firing... Hell just try it both ways instead of not understanding and trying to tell someone they are wrong, because you apparently haven't...

I've been eying the 14.5" DDM4v7 with Surefire flash suppressor/mount. Are 14.5" rifles a meme? Should I just go for a 16" instead?
I think the biggest velocity jumps between barrel lengths are 10.5” to 11.5” and 14.5” to 16”. Do your research and make a choice based on your needs and preferences.

It is preferable to keep the sling under your shoulder at all times in my humble opinion especially in a close quarters environment. I can’t imagine any substantial advantage shooting a single point would have over a 2 point and it would absolutely be beneficial if you end up in a grappling exchange which is as likely as a deadly force encounter if not more likely. However I am sure the great and brilliant “Overblown Windbag” 😂 I mean I mean Overton Windex could enlighten even us imbeciles on why a single point sling is preferable when engaging.

I could deal with it if they responded to the email I sent at week 9, but judging by the guy's attitude he displays for customers on his streams and podcast, he's a shitheel. The way you to that reminds me the way Death Metal/Metal Core Drummers kick the dog shit outta the Kick Drums. They can swivel there feet so fast it sounds fake and people who don't have a damn clue claim they are "Cheating" buy using Triggers on the Bass/Kick Drums. They also can do Bomb Blasts on the Snare Drum buy using a Finger Technique similar to the way you do with the Trigger.

@@OvertonWindex Yeah that is a better way of describing it. That Swivel Technique is just stuck in my head because my Daughter is playing Drums and one of her favorite bands is Lorna Shore. Austin Archy,he uses a Swivel Technique along with Heal Toe.

They will eventually just try to ban weapons from firing in automatic like ways all together. Like yea we can’t stop you from using your finger but if you fire it close to full auto you will get in trouble for it. I wouldn’t put it past them in the future
I don't get why people wear mags on their plate carriers. The surface designed to be shot has your ammunition placed in the fire zone, they're useless when struck and potentially explosive shrapnel added to spalling.
I think a war belt setup is the way to go. More even weight distribution in general and can go on as quick as a micro rig. If balanced properly you can throw 4-6 mags on it plus an IFAK and spare pistol mags.
The surface is NOT designed to be shot. The sub surface is designed to save you IF shot...

Can't speak for everyone, but sometimes you literally don't have enough real estate to put everything on your belt.
Yeah this was tried before and in a lot of cases the mags will still work after shot just depends on where they were hit and the bullets in the mags don’t explode lol. The chest is a great place to carry ammo. Now ifaks on the chest is something i disagree with because you can’t plug holes effectively with gauze that has holes in it.
Use a rubber band for a quick reset will do the same thing
