Ballingry Skatepark with Chris Goldie and Elliot Provan

- I recently took a trip up to Ballingry Skatepark near the border of Perth and Kinross and was met there by Elliot Provan and Chris Goldie for some midweek cardio. Dougal also came along for the banter and to see if he could find any dogs to play with - he did. We had the whole place to ourselves because the schools hadn't broken up for the summer yet and we took full advantage of the situation. Tricks were landed, falls were taken and laughs were had.
I did have the hopes of being able to film this type of video at most of Scotland's outdoor skateparks, but there are just so many of them and new ones keep popping up all the time, so I don't see me ever getting even close to documenting half of them - it's fun to try though.

Absolutely loved this. Sweaty thru the coping curve was most excellent, love a good sweaty.
It’s crazy how good the audio is (besides the edit itself..). Great choice of tracks, super high quality, deep base and the grinds sound so good. I had to watch this one a second time with headphones. Love it 🔥👍🏻🔊🔊

Just found your channel, loving seeing all the different skateparks. Have you been to the one in Inverness? Also Dumfries? Opposite ends of the country 😂 but it would be cool to see. I'm just learning transition. Grew up in the middle of nowhere so never had the chance until now. My kids probably think I'm nuts hahaha ...

@wheelsceneblading the wee bowl section is definitely rough, falling on the rest doesn't hurt too bad hahaha. I prefer falling in an indoor park, like Shred in Ayr, wood is kinder on older bones 😂
but after some consideration that park looks fuckin awsome!

Those falls at the beginning are why I don't skate or work on my transition skills
I definitely get more beaten up in skateparks than I do in the streets.
@@wheelsceneblading I don't fall in parks much. To be fair I don't leave my comfort zone enough. One day for content I'd love you and Tom moyse to skate. I might even sub to patreon to see it.

I literally had my eyes welling with tears looking at old daily bread mag. Wish that never ended like how thrasher has continued. Wish It would comeback.

Impressive park for a rural community, but it's so cruel and brutalist in design as if it was dreamt up by a Soviet architect whose only knowledge of skating is from magazines.
