My daughter is 10. This was her favorite book, it still is. When she’s having a bad day we like to watch the animated version. We finished tonight & scrolled down through other videos and saw this. We have watched it 3 times in a row, cannot stop laughing. That picnic table scene brings a whole new light to that segment…we were laughing quite a bit with all of it but she lost it when we got to the cherry pie, and I followed suit on the cupcake. This is absolutely fantastic and wonderful.
This makes me want to throw up because of the sounds and the ink bleeding on everything, but my toddler is obsessed with this. We watch it several times a day (sometimes I leave the room). She says the words along with you. I never thought something like this would happen to us. But it makes her happy ...You win, Ms. Swinburne.
Oh gosh 😬 I made this during the worst part of covid quarantine for the preschool class I taught in…using supplies at home, including food coloring. And it actually bothers me too!! I never expected it to take off like it did! Haha

That night, he had a stomachache! The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf and after that, he felt much better. Now, he wasn't hungry now and he wasn't a little caterpillar anymore. He was a big fat caterpillar. He built a small house called a cocoon around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks.
