100 years after Man stepped on the Moon, it’s likely that we are in a position to colonise Mars. We are heading towards the creation of a planetary civilization in what will be the greatest transition in the history of Humankind. A brave new world lies before us. And a highspeed race to reverse the poisoning of the planet Earth. We used fossil fuels to take the big leap of the Industrial Revolution and during the 20th and 21st centuries we filled the atmosphere with carbon dioxide, in an explosive way. Even if today we completely stopped sending carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the amount that has already been released is such that it is enough to cause global warming for decades to come, like a lung that is subject to the action of tobacco for years. How strange the climate with become depends on the measures we take today. Two degrees more are tolerable. Ten degrees more will have dramatic, unpredictable consequences, granting the impossibility of living in many territories which are inhabited today, as well as the relocation of cities by the coast.

I am a technician working on materials which are hazardous both to the body and the environment. If I don't do what I do, my paycheck cease. If I do what I do, I harm my health and pollute the environment. Whatever said in this video feels societal as well as personal to me. Transitioning to more environmentally sustainable and health-friendly technologies without sacrificing livelihoods is the most pertinent issue going forward as human civilization. Hopefully the future is more humane and clean. Best of luck to us all.

As a Christian, I don’t believe there is intelligent life elsewhere. First of all, the Bible doesn’t imply any intelligent life off of the earth (with the exception of spiritual beings, also known as angels). The fact that man is made in Gods image and it all starts with Adam, means we are extremely special and unique. The fall of man, sin and redemption is exclusively referred to as an earth problem. If intelligent life exists on another planet, that changes the entire plan of salvation through Jesus as a sacrifice for our sin, for “them”, Unless it was just a repeat and Jesus does the same for “them”, but surely The Bible would an least mention something, it doesn’t. However, if we discovered another planet with bacteria, plants, or even animals, that wouldn’t completely negate the Bible, but it would cause a pretty significant issue in that The Bible mentions nothing other than “heavenly bodies” ie planets and stars. And the creation account in Genesis is clearly focused on our Earth.

The trials experienced in the cauldron are
for the most part extremely trying in order to observe the choices made by the said spirit being proved. This is a parallel universe, one spiritual the other physical. While living in the physical we are confined because we are given complete freedom of choices, we all make poor choices at first but hopefully become more refined as we progress through our physical period, once metamorphosed we will be accessed for our spiritual responsibilities in what is described as God's kingdom, a Loving God/Father, He describes His city with streets of gold which is a physical description. Gold in ths instance means "Truth" which is complete order but with Love. You could describe a diamond crystal as highly ordered, it's atomic structure never changes and is the same universally, it is a form of truth but without love. A video project which gives us a profound need to reflect. At first, I thought it was too pro-tech and the social part of the equation was being ignored but having presented positive futurist visions of the near future the doc. takes a significant turn in another direction and begins to explore where we have and where we are going wrong. Although sometimes I felt bombarded with too much information and the pace of such documentaries is intense, a bit relentless, it was definitely a pause for thought. There is a great moment when we see some of the consequences of "global swings" as Michio Kaku, the eminent physicist, puts it, the documentary goes into silent mode and we are left with images to contemplate. Food for thought. Good educational but needs to be fed in bytes rather the whole thing in one go otherwise it is too overwhelming and produces a sense of something inevitably awful on the horizon - which it is - but we also need to explore how to galvinize people into a solid, conscious bloc that begin to make significant and radical changes in our way of living, adaptation is possible but if this unnecessarily harsh we will not come through this with a possibility of a sustainable future. Definitely worth watching.
