Daria’s legs are so long she can nail the Ouchi Gari from a different area code. So long as her high grip is in place what is Ukee supposed to do? You can’t go for the leg anymore, if you punch the lapel you’re too close and she will get the high grip. You need to be the female version of Hashimoto and maybe go for the Sode Tsurekomi Goshi...
That made me laugh about the legs, yes you need to be very skilled with your hips to throw Daria down.
Her height is definitely an advantage and she does ashi waza so effortlessly. Best way to win this type of judoka is using the drop nage waza.... Even though Daria has impressive ne waza too

What do you think about smaller people focusing on ashi waza? Im very short but i love all the ashi waza techniques since its possible to attack multiple times with ease and without much risk compared to seoi nage which to me is more a "all or nothing" technique.
You definitely can, Suzuki in the +100kgs took out much larger men with sweeps (De ashi Barai), Inoue did the same with O uchi Gari and sweeps, not just Uchi Mata
@@Chadi thanks for the reply! ive asked many people this same question and you are the first one who didn't go for the answer of "maybe... But seoi nage is better for you" even tho i understand why everyone tells me to use seoi nage.
