They are good at singing but they both lack at songwriting (which is one of the most important things in music). The girl is only able to write sad, piano songs which is a telltale sign of an amateur songwriter as those types of songs are the easiest to write.

Anybody can plonk down some generic chords, C, G, Am, F for example and then write a sad song about a breakup on it in less than 10 minutes, but it won’t be good, and anyone can do it. Think before you speak about music, because you clearly have no idea what you’re on about
