I got the last one😊
"And now the fourth" -- I see what you did there!
Orchestrated Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 almost got me.
Mr. Liszt tried very hard to make sure everyone liked it))
10/15
11/15, The beginning and end musiz is Edward Grieg Anitra'a Dance btw
Yes. This is the INTRO in all my parts.
Nicely done! I got about 2/3 of them. The ones l missed, at least l guessed the correct period composer lol. This was very fun!
Thanks for the comment. I hope you also enjoyed the other parts of this series.
Pretty tricky compared to the first four, I was stumped on many of them! If it was Bruckner Mahler Shostakovich I would get a perfect score lol.
Many people in the comments asked to make the test more difficult and I listened.
Thanks for another entertaining quiz. This one was a little harder. 13 of 15 composers named, but I knew only four of the pieces by name.
Thanks for the comment to my already regular viewer and subscriber!
I got them all! The multiple choice was helpful because a couple were guesses/process of elimination.
Well, that's the point of the test, glad You passed it!
I forgot how much I like Glucks Dance of the Blessed Spirits. Loved all of them
I don't have a Gluck here often, but it's a good choice!
Et surtout la flûte au milieu…
La version la plus complète est celle de Fasano avec Shirley Verret et Anna Moffo avec toutes les parties de ballet sauf une ❤
I was a little scared for this one, but in the end I got 15/15! Thanks for the quizzes, keep them coming!
For you, as an expert, there was a rather difficult test about symphonies. Welcome!
@@adiosmusictest Yes, that was much more difficult! Thank you.
I missed the schumann concerto 3rd mvt 🥲, in fact it’s the concerto i’ll be learning pretty soon 😃 (14/15)
The Schnittke thing is damned hard because it is so atypical of the time when it was written. All the rest were quite familiar pieces.
I know very little about Schnittke, only that he was a student of Shostakovich.
Not really, I got it by a process of elimination. I'd heard all the other pieces before, even if I didn't pair everyone up with it's composed correctly, but this was completely new to me as was the name Schnittke.
14 for me
Please add Mahler and Bruckner. Thank you for these videos with such a great quality!
Thanks! Bruckner and Mahler will be in the next video(Part VI) in a few days.
13 of 15
12/15.
9/15. The ordering made a difference to my score; I thought 12 could be Saint-Saens but I then knew for sure 13 was S-S. Same with 3 and 10. Anyway good fun.
Part VI please!! I love this videos ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks. There will definitely be a Part VI, but a little later.
12/15🎉
Got my Gluck wrong in this one. Schnittke by deduction, never heard it before
8/15, my knowledge in classical music is below average.
You performed well for the Part V
13/15 (I was fooled twice!)
Interesting fact (I wouldn't call that "fun"): the symphony with organ was dedicated to the late Franz Liszt, which is why we can hear the "Dies Irae" (used in Liszt's "Totentanz") but in major. And it's Rachmaninov because in Russian, like in German, you will pronounce a conson differently if it's at the end (the "v" sounds like a "f").
Thank you. I learn about many facts in the history of music from the comments and it is very interesting, so attempts to introduce an entertaining manner of guessing the quiz are not always appropriate!
Fourteen were embarrassingly easy. When I heard one I didn't knoe, I guessed Schnittke, correctly.
I got 12/15! That was a challenge.
Good. You have high results in all parts.
Always the easiest of chopin. 😅
It's good that there are users for whom everything is so simple!
15/15. Yes, I am a Classical music freak, haha.
13/15 ! Fairly happy with that.
Congratulations, this is an excellent result!
Finally a hard one, got 9/15
I tried to find a balance between complexity and accessibility, so as not to scare the audience))
11/15
Consider yourself almost an expert!
. . at least you threw in a Schnittke for us to nibble on (or gnosh).
I didn't know Babe's theme was a symphony by Saint -Saens!
It's Interesting)) This is the first time I've heard about the film "Babe" ))
11/15... worst score yet.
I got nine, better than the last one with overtures
I am absolutely terrible at this game....
do smtng with prokofiev, myaskovsky, stravinsky and shostakovich
Thanks for the recommendations. I'll keep it on mind!
Too easy these!
Welcome to new test about symphonies!
14/15 never heard of Schnittke before !
Over time, there will be more names in quizzes that are unfamiliar to the general public.

J’aime beaucoup Bottesini !
Got them all!
Yikes! I got the first three but only 8 total. I'm glad I don't pretend to be an expert.
Still good, because this is the most difficult Part so far.
9/15
