The customization definitely looks better from what I've seen, man i miss saints row 2, the fact you could actually customize your crib was so cool, ive never seen another gta style game do that
I got this free on Epic. Granted its over a year after release, but I enjoyed my time with it. Good graphics, nice lighting, object physics, and ragdoll animations. Also you can smash through all the things you cant in GTA 5 (trees, bushes, benches, chainlink/wooden fences etc there is a lot). Only bug I experienced was one where you cant enter a vehicle for the first mission but that was resolved by restarting the game. Only happened once.
Heppy Nau Yeer Erbudy. I wanted to become a gangster to pay my student loans but ended up getting my checks garnished instead.. Funnily enough I just finished last week. $40,000 paid back in 5-6 years.
I think the full price point at release really set this game down a bad path. Had it been 19.99 at launch with 2 included DLC … no one would bat an eye. We know our red headed step child saint rows always under preforms. 😂
I'm not going to lie it was the worst experience for Co-Op I've ever had. Saints row the third was always a little glitchy but now I understand my volition is completely out of business.
This just doesn't feel like saints row for me its mostly due to the dry humor saints row is suppose to be satire and this one just feels like it's trying too hard but at the same time not trying hard enough and then there's the whole group of students create a gang to pay for college was that suppose to be funny I know most people are gonna say its saints row its just a gta clone or its nots suppose to make sense which those statements are just not true yes saints row does share similarities to gta but they're really just two different games who tend to be inspired by one another from time to time before gta fanboys gets mad about that do we really need to discuss the oppressor Mk 2 and sure saints row can be pretty wacky and out there at times but for the most part it still manages to make sense of its world while telling a good story SR2 is a great example of that look my point is this game just misses the mark entirely it doesn't feel like anyone who worked on this actually had any care or at the very least understood what made past saints row games fan favorites it really just feels like they slapped the name on some mobile game that was never suppose to be saints row to begin with but thats just my opinion though im sure there's someone who's gonna come across this and get all pissy about it
completely agree, older games were genuine gangsters who just struggled to take some things seriously but this game is.. college students taking things TOO seriously? feels like they didn't go back and explore the older games at all.
Right off the get go the premise is stupid. They became "gangsters" in order to pay off their student loans (#relatable am I right fellow kids?). Gangsters don't pay loans. What are they going to do next? Get tags for the cars they've stolen? Pay taxes on the drug deals?
