"Customers were real"
"Puppies were actors"
...customers are real HEARTBROKEN
'Yeah it's probably the Buick effect...Have you heard about it, the Buick effect? It's the name of a hidden camera magic TV show.'
😂😂😂 another potential subscriber of Michael Carbonaro😄👍
Which you are on right now...
When the real customers find out they can't keep the puppies that they instantly fell in love with, they all got to feel the true meaning of owning a Buick, utter disappointed and sadness....😎
Hopefully not
Buicks are aight.
No one questioned how the dog got in the bag
I WAS THERE!
I pulled up in my 2001 Pontiac Aztek with no muffler, and wanted the $28.99 oil change special. They all stood there staring at me while the dude in the back said "get that POS out of the drive bay, it's ruining the shot!". The real service guy told me they only service Buick. True story.
This never gets old.
So at the end, they took away the puppies from those happy people... I would like to see the customer's faces when you took away the puppies...
Well those teacup yorkies cost like $2,000
That is really bad.
A song, "Opposite People" by a great African artist, Fela Kuti describes people who think negatively. They always see the negative side of any action.
@@tuffg.5469 Okay? There's been like a million other songs that also talk about pessimistic attitude.
@@tuffg.5469 truth isn't negative, you take it negative cause it's something you don't wanna hear or talk about. that's a you problem bud. what he said isn't negative it's just a true statement pretty much lol look at the puppies they look the same on each one he claimed to give away to them. seems pretty suspect to me and not right on their part. more so trying to manipulate the viewers to feel happy and good inside about this commercial playing with their feelings to want to pay or do this service for example
Just... GREAT 👍 congratulations for the advertising. I really like Carbonaro's work. Great decision to ad with him. 👏🎩🐰
This is what I call a good commercial :)
Weird how none of them question the fact that apparently they've had a live puppy under their seats all this time.
😂
Yeah, not Mensa candidates. Can only assume they think it's part of the power/heated seat system.
That girl at the end ain't giving him back 🤣
We need more of this #Buick ❤️
@1:38 One of the realest, best expression on CZcams 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🥰
I tend to agree 👍 with you but I believe you meant 1:28.
Prince Mothiba... I tend to agree👍with you, except I believe you meant 1:28.
Yea, here at Buick, we’re giving away full responsibilities to strangers 😂
It's 11:15pm on April 1st aka April fool's day and I loved this very short video.. well done guys
I wonder how sad the girl was when he told her it was just a show and she has to give the dog back.
I personally would be terrified that I’d mistakenly left that sweet puppy in my broiling-hot car all this time 😱
Awesome.....thx 4 sharing!
Buick rules! I love my Buick Regal.
I wonder if the people who wanted to keep the puppy could have or if the took it back.
They're actors and that puppy cost more than their pay, so probably not.
Edit: They'll all dressed well, look professional, act professional (not rushed, stressed out, or on the phone), don't wear clothes with any visible logos, and seem to all enjoy the same generic coffee. If these were normal day-to-day people, you'd see a lot more variation in appearance and attitude.
@@K-Fed It's possible the Buick commercial called in Buick owners to take part but didn't tell them about the trick. Or maybe Buick owners are on average more upper class and dress nicer than others.
@@jwonz2054 Probably easier to pick up the phone and pay a casting agent and some actors. That way they know what everyone looks like, how they'll act, and how long the commercial would take to shoot. Relying on random people would create so many uncertainties, it wouldn't be worth it.
And most Buick owners I know are quite old, definitely not the types of people pictured in that commercial.
@@K-Fed He has a whole ass show of him filming at a random location all day you think it costs millions to produce or something? It's literally just him doing a trick and a couple guys filming. With the addition of the other puppy pack winner part, it seems they are trying very hard to prank real people.
@@flux_time People like you are the reason why ads like this work well. Buick counts on viewers not knowing better than to believe these are "real" people.
I worked in marketing and advertising. If you believe these are real, unsuspecting Buick owners, then I have a bridge to sell you--or maybe you feel up to helping out a Nigerian prince with a huge sum of money that he wants to give to you for some reason.
Very cool. Now I’m going to go purchase a new 2024 Buick™ Equinox
Brilliant! Bravo.
That should have been in a ford!
All fords should come with a dog, so you dont have to walk home alone when it breaks down.
Ford, ford they are the best, drive a mile, walk the rest.
They're just making sure that you get your needed exercise.
I believe the reactions were real, but there is no way these perfectly positive and well-dressed "customers" just showed up in their perfectly shiny cars. Clearly, there was a hiring process and these people were provided a car and told how to dress.
Hahaha 😂 agreed. Usually i just wearing my weekend outfit (short pant, t-shirt & flip-flop). So weird to get selected for this
Watching this sub par video made me realize, much of this shoe was just fancy camera work. It all makes sense now...and as a photographer, I must say, they have some really nice and super expensive cameras. 0:06
Plot twist. They have no shots and these people live in apartments.
I've performed the ashes trick 500 times at least. It's truely about showmanship.
There is no way they believed that puppy is inside in that envelope since the day they purchased the car. NO WAYYYYY
I believe Buick has lost all their customers after being emotionally disturbed by losing what they thought they can keep!
Oooh you got a puppy pack too! 😂😂😂
I hope they let that girl keep the puppy, she was so happy it was starting to make me feel some kinda way lol.
Sadly, the puppies were "actors"
I hope these customers got to keep the puppy, they received? Especially that girl was surprised and want to thank/hug...
👊❤✌
The best. Truly the best.
fantastico
"but i don't want a dog, i can't manage myself ..."
Oh…and by the way…the timing chains in your 3.6 V6 are crapped out. That’ll be $9,000…or this way to the sales floor.
Are those puppies just an illusion or real. Are they going to disappear on the road😂
they did not air the 99% ones that said:
WTF? I don't want that! Let me talk to your manager, that's animal abuse!
Its a wow...
It would've been a great idea to let the customers actually get home needing puppies
I imagine you didn't read the ending
Fuck off what are you sane
I would have sue buick for false advertising as long as i could keep the dog
This is so awesome! Hahaha a fcking puppy 😂
*Girl:* “I love Buick!”
*Buick* “Can I have the puppy back?”
*Girl:* “Damn you, Buick! You told me I could keep the puppy and now you’re taking him away from me. Buick sucks!”
Btw, I actually really do love Buick vehicles. 😂
ILive2Rescue Where did you find out they took the puppies back? Stupid idea I agree. You never give puppies as gifts. Give a gift certificate to a shelter. That way people can pick the breed they want.
I'm pretty sure they did not find it funny when they took back the puppies.
They actually had to let the girl keep the puppy.

You'll never see the Ford Express Service / "There's an elephant in your back seat" commercials. For some reason they didn't work....
Let's pay a team to install giant cameras inside cars and never use them

Who can't possibly love a puppy....?.
So why doesn't GM hire Michael Carbonaro. You know, like as a traveling customer service rep.
I used to use this dealership in Woodland Hills, CA. While I love my Buick, this particular dealership treats its customers like garbage (as evidenced by fooling you with a puppy and then taking it back).
I'd jump too...!!!
"Real customers "
Is that so you don’t have to walk home alone when you break down?
How does this advertise their vehicles? They're just giving people puppies which they don't even get to keep in the end.
If they took the puppies back F Buick. If not, nvrmnd.
These folks are so carried away by the puppies, they didn't realise that it was in their car in a 'flat' envelope all the while.
Wait, they didn't get to keep the puppies?
Buick status: broken
And that's why your honor i suffer from PTSD The last time i seen my support dog a man in a white shirt took him And put him to sleep
Then the next day This clown shows up at my car......
Who thinks these ads out?
I would hate to receive a pet as a gift, monthly food and care expenses and consume my precious time.
They should have brought some puppies meant to be adopted so they could try to get them adopted and return the ones not adopted here to be adopted later. Why tell people the puppies are theirs?
a) So nobody said, "What that puppy has been under my seat the whole time"
b) If they didn't give that girl a freaking puppy they are absolute monsters. She would have been heartbroken.
so the Buick effect is only short lived?
The puppies are actors. So they must have taken the puppies back after Michael confirmed repeatedly that it was a real gift. And they could have actually followed through on the initial thing by giving puppies that needed a home.
Eris Cyl How do you know?
Half the people probably dumped the puppy on the side of the road when they left. Really bad idea.
Good way to get rid of your puppies lol
If the drivers had to give back the puppies then they can use the leashes on their spouses ..
Lovey dervey will be over when they tell you your warranty doesn't cover blah blah blah
They all wanted to keep the dog
I don't think it was right to seal up the puppies in those envelopes, much less leave them under the seat of the car. What if the owners never retrieved them and just left them under the seat?
Buick effect
When I found my package 📦 the puppy 🐶 had already died ☠️. 🥺
I personally love owning a Buick. I have a 2015 Buick Verano that is the best car I have ever owned. The only problem I have with Buick is they do not make cars anymore but these ugly things.
Girls don’t care muscles they puppies 🐶
Of course they are "actual customers"🙄
I would of slapped them for putting a puppy in an envelope
I want a dog
🤣🤣

Why doesn't Buick export cars to Europe. At least I've never seen a Buick on a European street! Too bad actually! Besides Ford, there are hardly any American cars in Europe. On the other hand, I actually see all the time German cars in American Hollywood movies!
Michael your killing me I just list my dog! 😓
stupid joke on the customers.. i would kick a fuss on BUICKS stupid promotions on the fake puppy giveaway..
They actually gave the puppies away. You should watch the whole thing before embarrassing yourself with your lack of information lol.
@@elbarto4815 They really gave away? i doubt they gave the customers..
@@mikey6538 doubt whatever lol watch the full video. This isn't the commercial. This is the clip from the show. Learn to differentiate.
I would not want a dog. It's a strange gift.
You're lame.
Only drawback is you have to drive a Buick.
Why the hell are they so happy over a fucking dog?
Magic... because the vehicles aren’t that great!
