  • My new fightstick, from Canadajoysticks.com for (finally) playing Steet fighter 6 on ps4. Street fighter 6 does not support legacy controllers and my ps4 madcatz broke. It took some time to save up, but from what I can tell so far and from reviews, this fightstick is worth every penny. Also I kept calling it Canadafightsticks. I bought this from Canadajoysticks.com

Hello thepausebutton and thank you as always for your great videos. Can I please ask you what the exact diameter is for each of the two holes passing through the chassis underneath the right side compartment of the fightstick?
In fact, if I can manage to place a round shaped USB feedthrough in one of them and plug the USB cable directly to it from the inside then I am seriously considering purchasing a Qanba Obsidian 2.
Thank you in advance for your response and I wish you a very good continuation!

I've never done a mod like that. Do you mean where the stock usb comes out of? It's the only hole in the chassis that comes from the inside. Other than access port to change the ball top. Happy to help if I understood where you're trying to install a different usb

Thanks for your quick reply. What I actually meant is the hole beneath the bat top as seen at 6:05 on the video (there is also a smaller hole on the left side). From the look of it, I assume it should be possible to screw in an Adafruit USB-C jack to USB-A jack round panel mount adapter. That way, the USB cable would be plugged onto the USB-A end of the adapter from the inside of the fightstick and a detachable USB cable would be plugged onto the USB-C end of the adapter on the outside of the joystick. According to the adapter's diagram, it has a diameter of exactly 21.7mm which makes me wonder if it will fit in any of the two holes.

Ahh. I think I see what you wanted to know..I'm not familiar with the connections you're trying to do but I think I got the measurements. When the bat top is out there is a hole that opens up to the inside of unit. I can see the components with a light. That hole where the bat top is approx 25mm. And to the left of that where the ball top is stored has a smaller hole that also runs into the unit. It's approx 15mm. I hope that's what you needed. Feel free to ask more questions if not.

I'm getting mine on the 11th of September(my birthday). Tragic day for everyone but me. (Sorry for dark humor)

Due to holidays, I haven't got to try it out. But I'm dying to. And hahahaha, it was dark.. took me a second.. (my type of humour).. sadly it was tragic though. Congrats on the purchase. Do you do modifications? I prefer the octogon direction plate and medium spring tension. I'll try it stock at first.

@@thepausebutton No, haven't ordered it yet. Going to order it on the tenth in S. Korean time zone because there is a shipping company that will deliver before 7am the very next day(subtly brags) ;). It's a gift so I know I shouldn't be too demanding with the timing.

@@thepausebutton Yes, I have! I can't believe how much I can like a fightstick. The weight, dimensions, and quality of parts are all in there. I love it so much. It is definitely better than the Qanba Dragon I have. Make sure all your parts are legit Sanwa just a reminder. I wasn't going to say this due to fear of not getting proper AS service from where I reside, but the black base of the lever was faulty. It didn't look the same as the legit ones shown in comparison. I was guessing what big of a difference can that make but it definitely made motions more mushy. I think due to the black plastic causing friction against the pivot or the metal washer. Just giving you a heads up!
