I’m a Buddhist and a follower of Theravada Buddhism but I do love all other sects of Buddhism. I think what this world is missing is compassion for one another but also practicing the correct way instead of just blindly following and not wanting to change ourselves. I have a question, according to your School do you think that theravada is the most complete kind of Buhddism. So other sects would be inferior.

For what i have learned theravada Buddhists are hinayanist: they want to exit from samsara for their own sake. They don't want to help others and gaining ghe buddha mind of enlightenment, they have not bodhichitta; is that true?
World is very much exposed to the wrong use of Shakti/Lifeforce/Dakini energy and people have become thirsty for this bliss, no proper use of it nor spiritual maturity about this has been provided. Many beings have been empowered with the energy and their lack of moral and ethical foundations leads them to superiority complex issues or seen from a Dharmic perspective they fall in the Deva realm and thus think of themselves as a higher eternal unchanging self. What the world needs is proper explanation of how this energt can be used in favor towards achieving Buddhahood more easily through wind/prana manipulation rather than using it to control the world and other beings without knowledge of this.

@@ragidyman9551This is not a simple question to answer. An enlightened being can do all sorts of things, but it cannot permanently end that being's karma, or better say ignorance. He would probably try to console the animal or maybe even help by ending that particular suffering. The Buddha did this, for example, when he sacrificed his life for the life of another being. But, If he does that, a new karma will arise which will produce a similar result, because only that particular being can end its own karma and enter Nirvana. It cannot be done by another. In the animal realm it is very hard to end the suffering, so a being must generally suffer through that and be reborn as a human, where it can end its own suffering. Buddha and Bodhisattvas can help you end your current suffering. Buddha does this primarily through his teaching. Bodhisattvas do this more directly, but like I said it is only temporary. It is like you owe someone 1000 dollars. A Bodhissatva acts like someone who prolongs the time for you to pay this 1000 dollars. He splits it by 10 for example, so you do not have to return all at once. But you still own 1000 dollars. If the animal is going through distress and is about to die the best that you can do is chant a Bodhisattva's name, pray for its happier rebirth or do a good deed in that beings name. In this way, its negative karma will dissipate much faster and the animal will be reborn as a human where it can learn the dharma or receive a blessing by a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. They help animals in their own way, but karma is karma. That particular being who is now slaughtered has, in the past, maybe 100 lives ago, maybe three lives ago, maybe 1000000 lives ago killed living beings in the same way and now suffers consequences. This does not mean that a being is guilty, all beings are actually innocent and victims of their own ignorance. Remember, samsara is beginingless from Buddha's perspective, so we have lots of good and bad karma. That's why the Buddha said that it is very hard for us ordinary beings to understand why someone is suffering. Even trying to look for a beginning or direct causes so far in the past would drive us mad. Which is why we should strive diligently towards Nirvana and help as many beings as possible, by cultivating compassion, wisdom and preventing the sufferings of other beings. When you achieve Nirvana, you will be at a point where you can understand why a being suffers, how karma is connected and how the cycle begins. Basically omniscience. Then you will understand why it is not so simple thing to end suffering of another. I hope this answer helps, may all beings be free and happy. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the video. It is hilarious that every time I watch the videos on Tube related to Buddhism, there is always Hindus weighing in the comment section even though the contain has nothing to do with Hinduism. They always claim that they superior of all and try hard to influence Buddhists around the world to engage in Hinduism but they forget Buddhists are smart and intelligent.
We have come so far against all odds and still rose through the worst . We have bared so much bigotry and genocide through out the history around Asia and specially in Indian sub-continent. My sincere gratitude to all the Buddhists around the world.

Thats because Tibetan Vajrayana is almost like Hinduism. Vajrayana took/adopted many teachins, rites and rituals from Hindu. Thats why tantra vajrayana almost look like hinduism. This makes hindu people feel like they are brothers from same mother. Then if you read original theravada Suttas, Buddhas teaching is totally different than Hinduism and Vajrayana "buddhism".

Every buddha preachs the same teaching...So maithreya buddha is the last buddha of this bhadra kalpa...He is the 512,028 th buddha....He preach dhamma once 100 years because humans can live long..(80,000 years)

Yes you are right. Clearly it is mahayana story. Mahayanas don't have authentic Suttas. They cooked up lots of stories. Many sutras are composed by people. But we dont even know if those people were even enlightened or not. Many of these sutras stand against Buddhas teachings.

The real kicker is that he allowed himself to be re-manifested unenlightened just to prove the efficacy of his own teachings. Zen masters are supposedly big on personal expression as proof of understanding. Maitreya delivers!
I really enjoyed this story, but I must say that I heard a different version of it. I learned that He'll be the son of a blacksmith, not the son of a king. Anyway, I like this version too.

@@WisdomTellers Hi, you might want to read the Sattasuriya Sutta for details on how earth will be bbqed. for Maitreya to become a buddha he has to realise his awakening on his own effort. a "buddha" cannot read or be taught any teachings of past buddhas if not he is just an arahant if he gain nibbana.

What if that Buddha is already here, but people are still waiting and fail to recognize because they have a specific expectation of the Buddha should come en behave. Either way the guy has a nice story with path already set and success guaranteed while me on the other hand are elbow deep searching for the path everywhere as the others path I have seen are not to my liking.

Maitreya is not due for around 5 million years. Do the maths. Humans increase in height one inch every one hundred years until they reach the height of 160 feet and increase lifespan every one hundred years until they reach 80,000 years. Buddha's normally reincarnate every 93 million years but Maitreya's is a very quick reincarnation.

As I am going through this video, a thought comes to my mind and a curiosity arises so i sincerely hope someone to be kind enough to quench my curiosity or rather provide with some soul satisfying answer .
By now most of us are familiar with the concept of enlightened Gods who are free from the cycle of samsara yet take part in the cycle of birth and death merely to establish Dharma and liberate all sentient beings of all the realms . But when they do so why is it that they mostly choose to take birth in a royal family or a rich family and then later sacrifice their royalty along with their relationships and go to years of Sadhanas to attain the enlightenment ? If one is truly concerned about all the wrongs and sins that has been happening around in this world , should He or She not start from the stratch for example , himself being born in a poor family or let alone be a middle class family and experience all the sufferings first at the same time feel the burden/pressure of responsibilities that one has towards his parents or families foremost ? Would a boy born in a poor family be able to attain the Buddhahood or enlightenment amidst him being bounded to his connections with his Parents or his families when he is born in this earthly realm ?
I do not mean to dispect any religion or any believe system for that matter, but why this concept of being born in a royalty or a rich family , enjoying to his fullest all the pleasures of the world from delicacies to hundreds of wife and then another instant when the clock strikes abandoning everything in order to attain the enlightenment ?
If for a santient being it would be a sin to engage himself or herself if ever they want to indulge in worldly pleasures then why should it be an excuse or considerable for the Enlightened Beings to do the same after they are reborn ?
I have also read the Tibetab Book of the Dead and there are methods though which one can decide his or her next births but for somebody who is already an Enlightened Being , it would be a child's play . Are they applying cheat codes of any a sort when they choose to be born in a wealthy family or a royal family for that matter ?

Hello! I think your question is completely valid. Buddha said to question everything and not just believe it because he said it.
I think Buddhas take rebirth in wealthy families to show that even though you have the best conditions (health, beauty, money, etc.) you still suffer and should strive for Enlightenment.
It would be very obvious to think that a poor person wants to chance his circumstances, but it's not so obvious when that person has everything anyone strives for.

It is by questioning that we gain deeper understanding and you are right to seek answers.
On reflecting your questions, I thought to offer my understanding, with the knowledge available to me as a Buddhist, as to why things play out a certain way. I hope these answers will help you in some way to reflect on these questions and find some clarity.
There are different stages to enlightenment (that dismantles the 10 fetters that bind beings to birth-death cycles called samsara) and it is Bodhisatvas who are yet to be fully enlightened that come in human form to complete their enlightenment process and shed the light of Darma and show others the way to enlightenment with the highest love and compassion for all of life.
These beings go through rigorous training in samsara by being born countless times in all imaginable forms, from animals to hungry ghosts to waterborne creatures to humans in different levels of society, poor, sick, downtrodden in order to develop unconditional love for all sentient beings. They engage in practices such as deep meditation to purify their mind towards attaining full enlightenment/Buddhahood and as a result, gain much merit or wholesome karma that I believe doesn’t allow for birth in suffering states such as being born poor, since they’ve already served in those testing states, since the laws of karma operates for all alike. Also it is fair to assume that they set a fine example by being born rich and then letting go of worldly pleasures and belongings as proof that the state of enlightenment is the ultimate bliss state/freedom that surpasses anything in the material plane. It is the state of complete freedom from ‘being’.
A fully enlightened being does not want to experience let alone indulge in anything the material world has to offer because they have broken free of avidya (ignorance of the true state of phenomena - that everything on the material plane is subject to decay and death which brings dukka or suffering/dissatisfaction). The Bodhisatva (the one aspiring Buddhahood) will go through a period of indulgence in worldly pleasures to help remind him the dissatifactory nature of worldly things that will then push him to attain full enlightenment through which he frees other beings who are willing to surrender their ego and follow the Dharma to gain enlightenment. I hope this helps 🙏

I heard a telepathic voice in my head in 2018. It asked me to look up Maitreya. So I did, and found similarities between the prophecy of maitreya and myself.
They are as follows:

Tall with high cheek bones
Has one brother and one sister
Entered trance state while in meditation in my early 20's.
I had stigmata in my hands in 2006
Jaw like a lion (I have a unique jaw line)
Webbed toes (two of my toes are webbed)
The emergence of 40 sages (I have made contact with sasquatch, some are sages)
I wrote 5 treaties (stories)
I don't know what to make of it, there are quite a few similarities, pretty wild.

Maharshi Maitreya was a Sage of the Vedpurana times. He was the son of Mitra, which is why he was called Maitreya. He was Maharshi Parashar's disciple and a friend of Krishna Dwaipayan Vyas. Rishi Maitreya listened to the Vishnu Puran that Sage Parashar recited..
Maitreya means the son of Mitra the vedic sun god his descendants are called moitra or maitra..
Maitreya was one of the well-known sages mentioned in the epics and the purāṇas. He was the son of Kauṣārava or Tuṣārava and Mitrā. On hearing that the Pāṇḍavas were banished to the forest, he advised Dhṛtarāṣṭra[1] to make peace with them. Duryodhana[2] patted his own thighs out of arrogance which enraged the sage who cursed him to die due to broken thighs.
The Viṣṇupurāṇa was taught to Maitreya by the sage Parāśara.[3] The sage Baka-Dālbhya[4] was also known as Maitreya. Maitreya is also prominently mentioned in the Bhāgavata.
Materiya Buddha( future Buddha) has nothing to do with Hinduism. It is totally different contain . Please do not try to conclude Hindu Masala in Buddhism.

The Original Buddha Doctrine is different from these
" Hindu/Jain" derived concepts, that are being spread all over the world, by people who have not entered the Path. That is why the Buddha reiterated that one should teach only after entering the Path. There is no Maithriya Bodhisatwa nor a Maithriya that is to come down from anywhere, except in the Hindu/Jain hallucinations, now being foisted into the naive people who have been following the Buddha Doctrine. The Path has to be seen through one’s fathom long body.
DUKA is suffering, DHUKKA is the sequence of events that constitute a thought, cessation of which opens the door to the Path. The Doctrine was about opening the door to the Path and seeking the contentment and Happiness of Nibbana. This is Cheto VIMUKTHI. Many authors have it wrong.
The Buddha spoke of ANATTA, which is basic in His Doctrine. It means NO SOUL. No me. No I. Which means there is NO person, except the senses - from smell. Sight. Hearing. Taste. Touch, Mind and memory.
In the Dev DAHA Sutta, He Categorically states " If anyone says that, what one endures is a consequence of previous actions " that NOT the Buddha Doctrine, but is Niganta (Hindu) doctrine. VERY CLEAR.

Bhawa means one thought. PUNAR Bhawa means the next new thought. Therefore it is the thought that follows one after the other.
Therefore it is obvious that there is no me/l/ person to be reborn.
“ Bhawa niridho nibbanam “ means eradication of the thought process, is the key to enter the Path to nibbana.
The thoughts follow in a sequence and there is no KAMMA as described by the Hindu/ Jain faith, where there is reward on one hand and punishment or damnation on the other, as is the case in Christianity. This concept of damnation is questionable and will last with intellectual dialogue.
The Original Buddha Doctrine, before it was mixed with the Hindu faith, is Supra-mundane and Supra-cortical. Even the concept of Anicca and Anatta is at the level of Quantum mechanics and sub-atomic particles. When a body or any object is dissected to the last of the material form, it is correctly called Dhamma after which it is a non-material aspect and no form called “ information “.
On the contrary, Buddha’s Teachings are correctly called “ Buddha Doctrine “ or Buddha wachanaya or the Buddha’s Teaching.
One has to stop the process of Bhawa and Punar Bhawa to enter the Path through Pragna and subsequently reach the stage of Dhamma. Thereafter one sees Buddha and Nibbana.
Difficult to fathom, but it is a process believed to follow as steps automatically, after stopping the thought process, through relentless effort.
The Buddha spent 6 long years doing meditation and found it to be futile, where he collapsed many times due to starvation and extreme emaciation. He realized that nutrition was important for all mental and physical activities. Thereafter he left the 5 colleagues and did the reverse of meditation, which was not concentrating or being mindful of any thoughts. He left the world of being in the mind and entered the Path. That must be obvious to any intelligent person, as the incessant7 mental activity is the enemy to the Path of Nibbana.
Not these mundane false concepts such as rebirth of the person.
Do your research and enter the Path, through " Cheto VIMUKTHI" which one could follow, listening to Dr. Gamini Abhaya MD. FRCP Consultant Physician/Cardiologist with NO fee, through Denageneemen Nivanata via the Internet. Until one enters the Path to Nibbana, by entering the first stage ( Sowahn) it is incorrect to teach or preach, which is like BLIND LEADING THE BLIND.

Mistake in the video: If he comes when the life expectancy is only 100 years how can he teach for 60.000 years? Tibetan scriptures say that he will live a life as worldly person until up to 20.000 years and then after realizing impermanence and enlightenment teach 60.000 years - so the youtube video is correct in this fact.

Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhism developed more than 600 years and 1000 years respectively after Buddha. so they contain a lot of teachings which deviate from the original teaching of Buddha. Sad to see later practices deteriorate into superstition, relaxation of monks precepts, tantric, mantras etc. This greatly deviate from the cultivation of virtue, deep meditation and insight wisdom found in the original teachings. sorry to say, but you have a misunderstanding about the mahayana path. everyone has different state of mind so we need different method to understand things but what should we keep in mind is the view ,If you see behind every method, there is a view that differentiates the path of different religions, or you can say different school of thoughts as for india . many concepts are alike in many of these philosophical schools, but what makes them different is the view rooted in the philosophy. buddhist masters says" it is the view that differentiates all the religions " , so it doesn't matter any method even it is just a story to inspire people like us who are always needs references, as long as we don't deviate from the right view , it is a skillful method, not something superstitious or mythical. at ultimate level chanting matras or rituals is a skillful method ,its not something praying to some god it's to discipline yourself it's a way to bring awareness at present moment,when they say everyone has buddha nature it means everyone has the capacity to achieve a state of a buddha mind, then how cannot there be another buddha or thousands of buddha if you believe in only the buddha who appeared thousand years ago then you are negating the fact that liberation is for everyone , theravada , mahayana, and vajrayana, these all paths have Buddha's wisdom and that all matters.

Are there really no more ideas for this coming event than kind of exact echo from what happened before? This seems very small thinking. Enlightenment would never stick to a known setting to just make it digestible for the public. And there will be no need for it. We are now entering in the age, where mind is loosing it - completely. In the Perfection of Wisdom, Siddhartha presented two future Buddhas to his disciples. He said the next one after him would be a woman who he simply called the Golden Lotus. After her, he said Maitreya would appear. He invited Maitreya to give a sermon to his disciples, and there can be no doubt whatsoever that he was Bodhidharma - the founder of a branch of Zen Buddhism. Siddhartha appeared around 500 BCE. The Golden Lotus appeared 500 years later around 0 CE. Maitreya appeared around 500 years later in 500 CE. This is the Avatar Cycle.

@@naturecure280 There is a Buddhist book of paintings and dharma sermons called The Perfection of Wisdom. It may be the most accurate depiction of Siddhartha ever, showing him as a giant surrounded by smaller humans and with gods as his Arhat disciples. In this book, Siddhartha the Buddha of the Shakyamuni tribe of Nepal, presents two future Buddhas. One is Maitreya, who gives a sermon that is highly intelligent, almost like he is discussing Quantum Physics and the fundamental nature of reality. His dharma closely aligns with that of Bodhidharma - founder of Zen Buddhism around 500 CE.
The other future Buddha which Siddhartha introduces is female. She gives no sermon and is presented with no name but a title: which I think was something like the Golden Lotus. Since the Buddha has an avatar cycle of every 500 years, it makes sense that she appeared around 0CE, perhaps as Mary Magdalene the wife of Buddha Issa or Jesus.
Mary was said to be wholly enlightened. She moved to France eventually and her disciples said she demonstrated many yogic powers such as the ability to levitate in the air and heal with a touch. Before she left Jerusalem, Mary gave several sermons to the disciples of Jesus about the fundamental nature of reality and these are contained in various Gnostic tractates. She was the only woman Jesus ever allowed to give sermons to his disciples. And of course, there can be more than one Buddha at a time. The disciples of Dipamkara were all Buddhas, not Bodhisattvas, but Buddhas, and they split up the entire world between them so they could cover more ground.
As for the NEXT Buddha relative to this moment, there is a high agreement that he will be Buddha Maruku. He sits western style and the Japanese believe he lives in the western half of America right now. Jewish Rabbi's from various conservative sects (re: The Rebbe) believe he was the first and original Yahweh, and that he has been living in the western half of America from which he will soon emerge with his dharma. There is a belief that he was the first known Buddha, called Dipamkara, who was the master of one Sumedha, who later reincarnated as Siddhartha Gautama, according to stories Siddhartha himself taught.
The Muslims call him the Mahdi or Messiah, and they claim he will be a white man from the west, with green eyes, a mole on his cheek, a bald head which looks like the moon under certain light, a birthmark on his right thigh, and an injury to his right eye which is imperceptible to others but still there. The Mahdi will unite all true spiritual people from all religions, because there is only one kind of enlightenment ultimately, not 7 or 10 or 24. You are simply dying under controlled circumstances and then exploring the reality that awaits you.
This is so confusing. If Maitreya was the Buddha of the present era, and if Shakyamuni was the fourth, who were the first, the second and the third?
As for the information presented in this video, if eons are to pass before Maitreya appears, will of us be around? No. Who among our great-great- grandchildren will have been born at that time? Eons is a time span that covers hundreds of generations.

I’m a Buddhist but I don’t believe in such stories.. Buddha or future Buddha will never chose to be born in caste system. Every Buddhist use your common sense, logic and reasoning.
But in the Bhadrasutra it dilineates the lives of 1005 Buddha's and what caste they will be born in. Some like Shakyamuni was born into the warrior class,some into the Brahman class and there is even one Buddha born into the Merchant class if I remember correctly. We have to consider karma as relevant to their high rebirth.
