The way Blake accelerates at the last 70 metres is amazing.
If he had a better start i kid u not bolt record wouldave been demolished. Or at least a tail wid of 1.5-1.9m/s hr wouldave been world record holder
@@andresparks486 yes but Bolt ran 19.19 in -0.3m/s
that 19.26 will forever shock me. even more than Usains records, only because I genuinely believed nobody would ever get close to 19.19 in atleast 20 years
Jesse Thompson If Blake didn’t have a crappy reaction time, he would’ve had the world record 😂
You're forgetting about Noah Lyles running 19.65 at 21
I think Noah lyles will take but in 8 years
Jesse Thompson he would have broken the record if he got a better reaction time
@@braxtonreuting7306 I actually don't know, because he pushed twice as hard since he was chasing Dix in front
This is actually 11 since Walter Dix ran 19.53 behind Yohan Blake in that Brussels race.
The Final Leg
This seems to be eliminating 2nd place finish.
it's the same race, i think it's ranked as 1st because of that also. These are the best RACES, not individual performances
The Final Leg I don't believe individual times in the same race counts
noah lyles just ran 19.50

Q
Blake is my favorite athlete.
He is so strong but humble.
Hope he could come back to at least sub 9.9 again
2 yrs later he did!
One of the biggest mysteries of the world is what Yohan would've ran if he had a perfect/better start.
Bolt is the most comfortable 200m runner he even jog the times Noah runs hard for
I disagree with that statement
@@mr.e6033 Noah lyles is slowly catching Bolts records and soon will overtake bolt.👍
ONLY a matter of time now 👌
@@rosesolon9243 lol...I'll revisit this comment a few years from now...and you'll still be saying the same thing..

The feel good music hit when bolt came on I loved that.
Haha yeah same
9:38 look at the surprise at Blake's face when he saw the clock, it's as if he had more in the locker and would have smashed 19:19
There will never be another Usain Bolt. He was a pleasure to watch. His personality and of course his races
misscritique66 I think Noah Lyles can fill that void very well
@@samanimations2002 Im talking all round talent and personality. Usain was one of a kind, so no there will deff never be another Usain
misscritique66 Well ofc not but Lyles is still a very talented/energetic guy. He’ll be pretty great too
Don Riller I don’t think it’s that far fetched of a statement 😭😭
Its pretty far fetched considering what usain had already accomplished before noah's age. Noah's better compared to tyson gay or walter dix not usain. If usain came out of retirement in his 30's hed be back dominating no doubt
@9:24 love that angle. You can see how blazing fast these guys are
I salute Yohan Blake for this particular race. He almost defeated the world record of 19.19. Even the great usain bolt was shocked. He is second greatest sprinter after Bolt. 19.26 looks unbreakable.
Had Blake stayed healthy... he would have bin Bolts greatest adversary
Tyson gay could stay healthy would have been his biggest competition
@@chadhamilton1513 Yohan Blake was better than Tyson Gay hands down. Yohan Blake has beaten Bolt in both the 100 and 200m, he has the second fastest times ever in both events. What more he needed to prove? 2016 Olympics Bolt knew he wouod have had problems if blake was healthy
@@berbanedash7935 Tyson gay ran 9.69 the only person to run faster is bolt you make good points but its just my opinion that gay was his competition
@@chadhamilton1513 Thats true but Blake ran 9.69 also. I think it was fractionally wind aided though. I am gonna say something that will upset you and i hope not too much. In my opinion Justin Gatlin was more of a Rival for Bolt than Gay.
@@berbanedash7935 Tyson gay would have been able to stay healthy he would have been that dude against bolt go back and look at when he was healthy nobody but bolt could touch him I don't take anything away from yohan he was a bad man Gatlin a bad man but gay was that dude
I've been waiting for this video since the video of 100m!
Lyles is the best 200m sprinter for now but Yohan Blake is the legend for me forever.I hope he's coming back to 200m again.
Good luck to him, but carrying all that muscle is tough, Lyles has the perfect body to break records and he is young!
De Grasse took Lyles' title
Blake's 19.26 will always awe me. Sure, he had a favourable track compared to some of the other times here, but for a stocky, 5'11 Jamaican who focuses more on power and natural speed over stride length and endurance, that has to be as equally impressive as Bolt's 19.19
Nope.
Blake = +0.7 Tail wind + small laned track + fresh legs.
Bolt = -0.3 Headwind + tired legs
Noah Lyles is being pushed as the new face of sprinting, and he may get there, but to put it in perspective Bolt had already put down a 9.58 and a 19.19 at the same age as Lyles. So unless he's somehow gonna shave .5 off his 200m time I think Bolt will remain king in the 200. Coles may be a better candidate over the 100, with his remarkably quick start. Still though he hasn't beaten Bolts 40m split yet either. I really enjoy these two young sprinters but damn I wish Bolt could have run forever
Well said
Noah's PB is 19.31 now! But I don't see him get anywhere near 100m WR.
What if Blake had a good start at the 19.26. Oh, what could have been....
defo a world record
Thats the fault one blake. Bolt didnt make a mistake, but yohan did. There is no if.
Goku except for false starts..
What if... =fantasy.
When Bolt ran 19.19 he had previously ran the series and semi-final. And a WR on the 100m. Ik think that he might have had ran under 19s if he wasn't fatigued
Love watching Yohan's 19.26 if he just had a got a better start definitely a world record. Sigh if Bolt never existed he would have gotten alot more respect. Most people (not true track fans) don't understand how great of times Yohan ran.19.26(With a poor start) and 9.69 is no joke.
If he was born in the 90s hed be as prominent as Michael Johnson. I feel so bad for him
blake 9.69 came by running against a headwind. which is perhaps the fastest 100m ever running against a headwind.
@@kvinay159 bolt did 9.77 in -1.3 headwind with rain and poor start
@@darkness1978 not to mention it was cold. Bolt with perfect conditions was atleast capable of sub 9.5 and Asafa Powell really showed he could’ve been the 2nd fastest but it didn’t show and there’s no if.
IF! Bolt ran it while being fatigued and into a headwind of -0.3 on a perhaps slower track. Bolt's is more impressive and that start could've made Blake run faster. He didn't rush himself so more energy. There is no if since you will never really know what would've happened. Though that 19.26 is still absolutely amazing
Yohan blake appears to be faster during races but in record Bolt is, Bolt always relaxed Yohan is the push hard, I like them both .
R.I.P. to Alex Quiñónez, One of the greatest talent from South America.
Imagine being the flower girl at 1:58

JUST SHOUTING AT THEIR FACE
Xd
Bolt jogging and easing 10m out = Lyles full gas all the way through. But Yohan, hope he can regain that form!
Lyles ran relaxed like bolt bolt is taller so
It looks like a jog
I'll never not be mesmerized by that last 100m on Yohan's 19.26, it HAS to be faster than the final 100m on Bolt's 19.19, cause his start really wasn't that good, if he had a blistering start we may have seen a world record that day
It actually is. Bolt's second 100m was run in 9.27 while Blake's was done in 9.08. Incredible speed reserve.
his actual time spent running was less too. His reaction was just terrible
@@khumokwezimashapa2245 I would say his splits were 10.14 + 9.12
@@darkness1978 That's correct. I made a mistake the first time
@@khumokwezimashapa2245 bolt Time was more impressive than Blake

This music. definitely feeling some type of way. Lol
Bolt could of ran even faster but he always just relaxes never pushes to limit If he did his records would be untouchable
You could probably count the number of races where he ran through the line on two hands
Bolt was a master of running a race riddled with mistakes and still coming out the victor.
Bro there are some videos in which he tells to look to your side and see if anyone is close to you. (as his tips)
He had a horrible start,(I have a theory that it was on purpose after his DQ in WC 2011) , looked two or three times in between races, never leaned (and if he did it was before the finish line) and celebrated before the race was even won.
In Rio he literally looked back and smiled!
And nevertheless this great man's records are unparalleled and no one has even come a shade close to his records. The only exception is Blake in the 200 m above.
@@myaccount611 what?
@@alansamuel2454 how about Noah?
What's the jazz piece identity playing in the background when bolt is running.
Please anyone....?
I hope yohan Blake can get back to top form again he also when hefty was a pleasure to watch but right now Noah and comen are the two to watch!!!
He can't
I like d way blake's leg moves while running
For all those who compare Blake and Gay, I agree they're both marvelous runners in their own right.
However let's play with some numbers:
Blake and Gay are both the 2nd fastest in the 100 m at 9.69 seconds. That pace for the 200 m would be a 19.38. Blake has not only kept this pace but has bettered it with a 19.26. Gay however only managed a 19.58. No disrespect it's a mighty good time- it's Maurice Greene's 100 WR pace - but it doesn't even touch a 19.26.
I think that if Gay would have run against Bolt in 200m race in 2008 - 2009, he would've pushed himself harder than 19.58
19.26 WOWWW....im speechless.😮😮😮😮😮
3:59 I'm over here like " he runs exactly like Usain Bolt exactlyyy like him it's odd" only to see it is him ahaha I really wasn't paying attention to the part where they showed it was him lol.
Gatlin pushing heavy..🔥🔥🤙
Losing Form Badly in Monaco, surprised he ran a 19.68
That’s where the juice kicks in
A little bit of sprinting education guys, Blake ran into a +0.7 wind Bolt ran into a -0.3 headwind. A negative headwind is slowing you down, a plus wind is helping you.
Amazing
Bolt and Blake are our legends
Prime Blake's 19.26 very close to Bolt's 19.19 in 200m.
Yohan Blake has the same height with me, but he's black, I'm yellow.
I am very sad for Blake.... If he can regain his strength he will be unbeatable
He's past his prime, sadly
ボルト兄やんかっこええなぁ〜
Walter Dix 19.53
Gotta update this after Noah just ran 19.46 in monaco this yr
Bolt rock star of Athletics period even in retirement, there is no one no one that’s even close to his star and talent quality, I give credit to the warrior Justin Gatlin he showed up he challenged Bolt he praised him he thanked him he even bow down and paid homage to the great man after defeating him, I think the greatest 200m diamond league race on this list is Blake vs Dix!
8:31 nice rhyme
Judging by the times lyles is running i don't think anyone can beat him on the 200m this year except himself
8:22~ If Yohan had been able to make a good start...
No one run the curve better than Blake

Yohan Blake destroyed Walter Dix's career with that 19:26. Take nothing away frm Yohan’s 19.26. But it shows how great Bolt’s 19.19 is since he did it after 100m & 200m rounds. While, Yohan didn’t do rounds.
Walter Dix still read 19.5 what's your fastest time in the 200
Lyles and Norman the 200meters will be exciting to watch in the future from them.

Bolt's 19.19 I a no-go area. Breaking that record will historic.
I feel for Walter Dix talented guy but like Charles Barkley Patrick Ewing and some of the greats got shut out of a championship because of the Great Michael Jordon Dix had to deal with The Great Usain Bolt and also Yohan Blake
Meh, at least Dix has won medals in the Olympics and World Champs.
Man, 200m would've been interesting if the line up is Bolt, Blake, Gatlin, Gay, Lyles all together in the same race. It's like 2012 Olympics final 100m. All star sprinters.
Only for Bolt to win again and again.
That is good

Bolt won't live to see his record get broken
in the first race the guy who got the injury might have got like 19.60 if he was not hurt
man got the same score twice
anyone knons the time of the secong guy when blake did 19,26?

Hello! Were is the World Record of 19.19?
Very strange configuration of the stadium in Brussel in 2011. The end of the relay landmark is still on the turn.
Blake has usual for him start 10.20 but then he run 9.06 the second hundred (Bolt in 2009 9.34, Johnson in 1996 9.21, Lyles in 2022 9.29) and even Blake in London will be able only 9.29. So where he got 9.06 for the second hundred I don't know)Maybe the stadium helped him)
And Walter Dix. His second hundred 9.36, but it's very fast for him. He usually ran faster the first hundred but he wasn't been good at the second part. His normal time 9.6-9.7. It's very very strange)))I don't believe that it was clean
Cant be 9.06 for the second 100m.. thats borderline impossible to dip below 9.12 in the second 100m of a 200m race.
Pretty sure Xavier Carter ran a 19.63 in Lausanne that should be on this list?
Me rate yohan Blake💯
Justin Gatlin look so uncomfortable running that 200.
I think Usain bolt could have done less than 19seconds had he managed to improve on his start/form
No 19.19 start was perfect....It was his finishing (he was tired) + the headwind....If Bolt had a decent tailwind instead and fresh legs he would go sub 19.
@@alexreid2365nteresting fact : Blake's best 200m time without reaction time is just sub 19!
