I'm in my 40's. I can resonate with everything you have said. As I would consider myself having it all. I agree with everything on your list. but for me I would categorize Headphones as part of Audio. Whether its headphones, home speakers the appreciation of audiophile quality is important.There is no doubt you can distinguish sound quality and learn to appreciate it. Today's the Modern Gentleman as I call it; would cover all these categories that you have listed. Luxury watch is important. I did inherited a few luxury watches from my grandfather while I was studying university and that is how I got started building my collection. Like what you said, my intentions is to pass it down to my three kids especially with my Pateks and Rolexes. Luxury spirits, I have amassed a large collection I would say I'm proud of and being able to travel alot to the UK gave me the opportunity to start collecting. But most important, I enjoy sharing it with my close friends. If I was to drink it all I would probably be dead. Car is a given for most men. I love cars. Now bespoke suits. I'm very passion about as my tailor is one of the top tailors in the world from Napoli I can say a well made bespoke suit, makes a significant difference. It is made cut to fit only you the shoulders, how it curves how it drapes nothing can compare. for those on a limited budget, I would always suggest to start with a pair of pants, then save to make a sports jacket. you don't need alot, just a few good items but fit is everything and these things literally last a lifetime. Also I wear alot of Loro Piana, mainly from making bespoke items. I don't like wearing a branded items but its important to always have the mentality once you become successful is you wear the brand, you don't let the brand wear you.
I love luxury things they always make me happy. Good phone, good hotels, good cars, private beach, good fragrances, good bed, good house, good clothes, good watches, first class air plane etc

I’m 21 years old and I completely agree with Jose. I come from a good living family and yeah we are very economically stable but I’ve always been a very humble person just like my parents and I have worked for what I wanted and stuff. I do have to accept that I have received help from my family and all but yes guys, watches are an investment. I bought my first ever Rolex back in 2019 and I bought the Rolex datejust. Probably around 15-20k depending on the dial you choose since mine has diamonds and it’s made of white gold. Watches are an investment because either they hold their value or they can increase in value. Cars is another luxury for me. I own a 2020 ford fusion and my dad bought me a 2023 Honda Civic si. Yes, cars obviously depreciate in value but the fact that you get to enjoy and have your dream car goes beyond its value or whatever it is. I love my cars and I am in working to obtain a third car which is going to be a mustang. So it’s more about the experience and the saying of “I have my dream car”. High end spirits like tequila. I’m Mexican and one of my favorites is tequila. Always the high end tequila like Don Julio 1942 or Don Julio real. Clase azul. Casa dragones. Im not big on clothes especially since I like to dress simple but good. I do get a few of high end clothes but not a lot. Clothes are important and it says a big part of who you are. A tailored suit is a must for every guy. Another luxury I would say it would be cool or maybe a must have is to be able to have a good cologne since a good cologne is what identifies you as a guy you know? There’s a lot of good colognes but don’t always go for what other guys already have. A good high end cologne is good because not many people have them or know about it.

The problem is that the majority of the people cannot afford luxury cars and luxury watches but think they can, they live in debt and have no savings and no investments for the future. I know people that buy a 20k rolex with a credit card and a 70k truck earning 60k a year. It is better to buy quality things at a better price and invest long term in order to live financially free tomorrow. Maybe don't wait until you're 60, but start spending once you have a base, 3 to 6 months of expenses, no high interest debt and investing on your future.
