Idk, the 100 Video Game Song Medley is probably the best collab on CZcams. I don't think anyone's had over 100 musicians on a medley that goes on for over 40 minutes, it's pretty wild.
I just love how Davie and Charles inspire each other.

I don't know is it just me or Davie's bass sounds different from other bassists . I was able to distinguish it even when all were playing together .
He did play everything in an upper octave when they were all together
My exact same response. I've noticed that in other videos, even between him and Charles. My first impression is that his base has a unique sound, or he uses strings that produce a unique sound. Otherwise, it may be that he's playing a third or a fifth or in octave above the others.

I love the contrast between Charles and Davie. On the one side you have Davie, always showing a serious, almost angry face, and on the other side, you have Charles, always genuinely smiling and enjoying himself, swinging his head to the beat.

Omg, this was fantastic ! Just subscribed as I’ve got to hear more of your music. I’m a sax and keyboard player but I’ve always loved hearing the thundering bass bottom. in my last band, my gear was next to the bass player and sometimes I would forget to come back in after his solos as I was so enamored of his playing chops. Steve could drive the “1” in any funk song but also make you cry with his emotional musicality. He was so humble and truly a wonderful guy. Damn do I miss him. RIP.

This is wonderful. By the time the guitar (I mean six string piccolo bass) and the Moog like keyboard solo came in I was in floods of tears from the raw emotion poured out by all these incredible musicians. Most of us, I know are in isolation, and yet you proved everyone could still play together. This is an amazing musical feat, and surely a sign that musicians go beyond the ordinary. It is so human that it is superhuman somehow. Well done all of you. I sure hope I get to jam and add some piano with any one of you someday. Musical hugs! Rich in Melbourne. Further props and respect to Charles and Davie. You bass players are fast becoming my favourite kind of people to hang with.

By the way, everyone knows how stellar your bass playing is, but two things that certainly don't get complimented enough are your editing and mixing skills. It really does take some deep music production/audio engineering knowledge to make a song sound this good out of 50 bass tracks. Your musicianship is outstanding.
