The Applebees reward is probably the best thing to come out of IOTI. Makes me die laughing every time they erupt into cheers. Everyone’s reactions are just so extra it’s ridiculous!

I saw a homeless person with one begging for money at the stop sign just last week. He may not be able to sleep warmly at night, but at least I know he has Applebee's to fill his belly with their amazing CHICKEN FAJITAS! Oh em goodness! Karishma could probably eat there 3 times a day for 70-150 years and never run out of money due to their wonderful prices! EATIN' GOOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

Another thing about the Doritos and Mountain Dew, both items appeared in the auction the same season. Everything else was generic (cheeseburger, crackers, french fries, etc.)

However I will concede that upon rewatching the auction there is a Bud Light with the label clearly visible, so I was still wrong either way.

If it weren’t for in show product placement and sponsors we wouldn’t have Survivor. The network wanted them to produce a demo first to see if people liked it, then give Survive the green light and the money to film. You can’t really do that with a show like Survivor so Mark, the creator of the show, got the money through getting sponsors.
The product placement episdoes shows who the biggest screen time hogs there were. You're so right if Karishma's favorite sit-down restaurant is Applebees, my god Carrabbas or Bone Fish Grill would blow her mind. I'm not mad at picking a chain restaurant as a favorite. Many times you don't have lots of money to spend at the special restaurants in your city, But Applebees, to me is a classier Wendy's, Now I'm not going to attack Sandra for Outback. For a chain steak restaurant it's pretty good. Many men, particularly military men steak is a favorite food.
