Most of these animations are really on the money but this one I dissaprove 100%. Vettori substantially outboxed Costa but Costa smashed him with some hellacious kicks. Should have been Vettori walking Costa down while spamming punches and Costa retaliating with the vicious kicks. Last round was only one where Costa completely out struck Vettori.
The actual fight Vettori controlled pretty well the first four rounds. He was jabbing the hell out of Costa the whole fight but he was also catching some bombs.

This is the first time you BADLY depicted a fight. Sure, Costa was hitting harder but was getting walked down by Marvin and pushed into a corner multiple times. Costa only had 2 good rounds despite the weight advantage. Marvin showed heart and endurance of a true fighter and earned my respect. He definitely won that fight. Just imagine what would happen if Costa was the one with a weight DISADVANTAGE... He would get ragdolled by the italian orc.
So, he didn't had the weight advantage in absolut terms. They both weight in 204lbs. But ok, Vettori problably suffered more in the process and Costa probably recover more weight until the fight.

Those kicks were nasty, but the damage done wasn't enough to offset the volume of Vettori IMO. If Costa had gotten a few more through or a knockdown he would have won the round.

This is the first time you BADLY depicted a fight. Sure, Costa was hitting harder but was getting walked down by Marvin and pushed into a corner multiple times. Costa only had 2 good rounds despite the weight advantage. Marvin showed heart and endurance of a true fighter and earned my respect. He definitely won that fight.
Just imagine what would happen if Costa was the one with a weight DISADVANTAGE... He would get ragdolled by the italian orc.
So, he didn't had the weight advantage in absolut terms. They both weight in 204lbs. But ok, Vettori problably suffered more in the process and Costa probably recover more weight until the fight.

I had Marvin winning 3 rounds. Costa definitely won the fifth. And I think I was iffy on one round. But even without the point deduction I had it 48-47 Vettori.

@@mmafuturist It was a close round. I went with Vettori on volume, he hit Costa on the chin a lot more than Costa kicked him in the legs and body. Those kicks were nasty, but the damage done wasn't enough to offset the volume of Vettori IMO. If Costa had gotten a few more through or a knockdown he would have won the round.

Huge shots, thanks to his chin and his incredible determination .. !!! Marvin is improving a lot, but Adesanya and Whittaker, unfortunately, are superior to him. He should fight and experience, with Till, Brunson, Hall and Gastelum. Remember that physical strength is not enough, but a warrior spirit is needed, and Marvin Vettori has it ... !!! He said he had some injuries during the training camp. The dude fought a great fight and if it wasn't for Marvin's chin and heart, he would've TKO'd him. And the 1 point deduction was kinda cruel since it was the first foul of the game.

But he never used that as an excuse for his loss to vettori, he said that vettori did well and the injury wasn't the reason for his loss, the injury only explained why he was heavier than usual. So get your facts straight before regurgitating wrong information. Costa had NO excuse for this fight, he said that he fought well and so did vettori.
